Animal Kingdom Hotel next?

It seems to me that Disney like to build new parks and then add hotels around it. We have VWL that is an easy boat ride to MK. The DTD resorts. The BCV and BWV are easy walk to Epcot and boat to MGM. Does anyone see either a DVC or regular Disney hotel withing walking distance of the ANimal Kingdom. I mean the animal Kingdom is not even close to being complete. I think it will become the biggest Park and will have some great attractions. It is adding many new attractions and lands. But the only ways to get there are car and bus.

I think Disney may add a group of hotels near the resort and they do not need to be near the front. Think of the Epcot resorts, they have a back way in.

My guess is one of the next 3 resorts will be an Animal Kingdom resort.

Didn't you know? There is an Animal Kingdom Lodge! It's not within ''walking'' distance, still got to take the bus (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I've never tried to walk it). It's beautiful and my favorite non-DVC resort. I would be delighted if they had a DVC resort there!

I think the next DVC resort will be an add-on at the contemporary. I like how DVC's are being built within walking distance to another activity, like SSR to downtown disney.

I don't know where the next resort will be but I do believe that IMHO it will be adjacent to a current resort (so it won't be Eagle Pines). The last 3 DVC resorts have been built using existing infastructure and that seems to be a formula that is currently working very well. I also don't think it will be for a while due to the size of SSR and how long that will take to sell out.

My family would love an AK DVC too. Not to sure about the Contemporary one myself either. We have stayed in the wings once before and weren't really impressed. Now DS would like to stay in the tower but I don't really think that is waht DVC will be taking over! LOL!

A Poly DVC would be nice. I would stay there.

I would have to come up with some extra money somehow if they built a DVC AK. I love that place!
I think a DVC Contemporary is a reasonable guess. They could replace the garden wings. I wouldn't buy there unless they changed that pool. YUCK! That slide looks like something at the YMCA.

That's why they need to be redone/improved, and could be redone for DVC.
