Can anyone explain why park hours for the fall are only showing AK open till 5:00 pm. Was under the impression that all the new nighttime activities were all year long not just in the summer.

They have not yet extended hours. They are doing this at all the parks (except Epcot), holding back on the final hours. Frustrating for those who are trying to plan.

It's tough I can book meals
Monday and don't know what to do with ak eve.
Same boat here. Trying decide when and where to eat to make sure we don't miss the light show. In the past it was so easy to just plan a 6pm dinner at Boma.

This was my question as well... until when are current extended hours showing?
I wonder when they will release the times?? So far we also have an early dinner at Boma... Really not sure how to plan that day.

I know that we are in a minority but I don't plan my WDW trips about where I eat, even as different and nice as the place may be. If I am wanting and hoping to see Rivers of light in Septemer I will grab the easy burger and fries somewhere. I can always find someplace to eat but ONLY ONE place to see Rivers of Light or any other nighttime show. That's also one of the reasons we never purchase a dining plan.

I am the same and I think we are in the majority, not the minority. I couldn't careless if I knew exactly when a park would be opening or closing for sure until about a week out. As long as I know the park is open is all I care about in advance. We rarely eat in the park regardless, so we never have park opening ADR's or ADR's set up at night to coincide with shows or whatnot.

There seems like there's a lot of people on here that need to have the complete hours set far in advance to plan. But I think those that plan like that with adr's set specifically around park hours and shows are in the minority.

Thanks DebbeB that's what I thought but wasn't sure.
