Those turned out really nice!!!![]()
Great Pics. Nice use of the starlight filter.
Which tripod did you use?

Nice, is the tripod more stable that your previous ones or something?
Wow I hadn't seen that till I posted. Amazing reflection in the water and very strange lighting seen at night with a long exposure!
Is it 30 seconds?
Finally got over to AK for a few hours of photography after dark with the new tripod. All pictures taken with D300 + Sigma 30mm f1.4. Aperature Priority at f11, ISO 200.

Great shots Jeff! I can't wait to be able to take some nice night shots with the 30mm! I like this one the best just because it is cool that you can see the blur of the train that went up the mountain and all the reflections/stars. All the others are awesome too! You guys who can just run to the World whenever you want are really making me jealous!
Just curious, what made you choose ISO 200 over 100 (or less if the D300 allows that)?
Outstanding shots Jeff! I'm going to have to look at that tripod to relace the shimmy-shake my light one gives me way too often.
Absolutly beautiful pics!! Thanks for sharing.
