Keri, thanks so much for the blue floor!!! I have been looking for it every single day for the past month and a half and our town never has it!

I finally caught the oak silk moth tonight!

I have much better luck spotting them from a distance. The most important thing is that you have to creep up REALLY slowly to catch both the oak silk moth (the bigger, wider one) and the lantern fly. Try cruising up and down your river while looking at the trees on the other side of the water. Also, if you have trees in the northern sections of your town that have an unobstructed view when approaching from the south, keep a lookout on the trees in the distance instead of the ones right by you on the path (if that makes sense!). Once you are anywhere it, even regular walking will scare it away. That's why you have to spot them from a distance and then tiptoe/creep slowly up to them. They both spread their wings when alerted to your presence, so if they do that, then stop moving and wait for the wings to go down before you start creeping up again. Hope that helps someone. Once I figured all of this out, I started catching them left and right. However, I do scare them away still sometimes when I am not looking for them and nearly wet myself every time.

Exactly - I tend to see them better when I am coming down one of my "ramps" - much easier to spot that way instead of head-on.

You fish and catch bugs and buy and sell turnips (hopefully at a profit...unlike us most weeks ) to earn bells and payoff and expand your house. Then furnish your house with different themes. There are fishing and bug catching contests as well as flea markets once a month. You work toward getting the "perfect town" by planting the proper number of flowers and trees and watering them and pulling weeds.

That said, my son wrote a letter to Nintendo with a bunch of things he thought would be fun to add to the came via the Wii Channel. He had a lot of great ideas, although I told him not to expect anything to come out of it, but it was really cool of him to to write the letter!

Got rid of my way too dark tan, changed some animals, got my grass back. That is all I will share for now. You guys will not want to play with me anymore!

I love the accents! Every now and then I keep my Wii speak off. It just depends on what is going on here. Sometimes my dogs decide to play fight and that gets so noisy. Then we have my husband who doesn't like it being on. Maybe he is afraid he is going to be an a** and someone will hear him

Hmmmm...sorry you couldn't get thru the gates. Maybe I was in a conversation with an animal or something?? I think it does that when you are donating or talking to other animals. I certainly haven't deleted you!
