I read it was $300,000 for the lighthouse/windmill, I may be wrong. I know it was $500,000 for the fountain.

We're finally getting our fountain! Right now I'm the only one contributing to the town fund since DH and DD are still working on getting the last house expansion and DS just wants to get the 2nd floor.

Today I started playing right after DS left for school at 8 -- since Nookington's wasn't open I just kept dropping fruit, shells and fossils outside of the store -- it looked like they were having a yard sale! But, in the first 20 minutes the store was open, I made 40,000 bells. If only it was that easy to make money IRL.

ETA: I love my shamrock hat, I look like a leprechaun!

This is where you can send letters you've written. There's actually a system as
to what kind of gift you'll recieve, assuming you attached a gift of your own:

1 line of writing: Fruit or a shirt 2 lines of writing: Furniture
3 lines of writing or more: Wallpaper or flooring

You won't get anything if you sent a nonsense letter or one with a lot of
typos. Using the recipient's name, your town name, your own name, and words
like "friend" may help in understanding.

Thanks for the info, I tried sending letters to some of my neighbors...I really need more types of fruit! Hopefully it works.

Hey! Your home is the model house at the Happy House Academy in my city. The theme is something like the most expensive or something.

Also, I need to remember who's town I have to catch a Tiger Butterfly in to get rid of all the bees in my town. I got a charm and someone needs to catch a yellow perch.

Very cool! I've got one spot in my town where black tulips are growing like weeds. I also keep finding pink tulips around which are pretty. I've been ablet to get a couple of purple roses as well, but now I'm trying for a blue rose.

Sorry I haven't been around too much the last few days. We've got a lot of "home projects" going on which are taking all of my time. I wish my real-life house was as easy to rearrange as my AC house! Plus the kids are on Spring Break, so getting my Wii Time is tough! But I think I'm going to log on for a little bit and I'll go ahead and open the gate.

I was able to walk around today and found a little surprise - I think it's a Jacob's Ladder flower. How in the heck did I get that!? 3Leafs, can you tell me how to get the pics from my SD card to the PC? I'd love to show y'all.

dvcfamily41801, to get the windmill or lighthouse, you have to donate a total of 1,500,000 bells. I thought it was a total of 1,000,000 bells, but it's actually 1,000,000 over and above the 500,000 you need to donate for the fountain. Took me forever to figure this out.

Ok now that I had time to get on (earlier my dd4 got on my character and told me that I had a funny thing on my head) I found out that Nintendo sent that letter via Pete (I think thats his name) and here is a picture of him greeting my ds5's character

One day it was just after dark say 7ish and the other day was 8ish.. He was in the Lower right hand corner of the town. I would walk and a bubble would pop up on the screen saying "no over here" or "go the other way" it was cool. sadly both times I found the lamp during the day which means that he was there the night before to leave the lamp so I had to go back on that day.
