Arrrghh!

I had typed a lenghty catch up and lost it all!

Here is what I remember.

I'm glad the LK4 had a great time at the LK Her limo knocked down 3 azalea bushes and 4 grit shrubs on my street though.

Thanks to Lou for throwing in the "goosed by a duck" comment. It was the first thing I thought of when she said it, and sure enough, he posted it immediately!

Melissa, I'm glad you had a trashy novel reading weekend to yourself!

Sandi, it was very nice of you to save Christmas for DS.

Gail, I hope your schlubster does/did well with tryouts.

SB, be careful that you do not put any of the decorations down on your bon-bons or trip over your robe. I hope you get finished before your soaps come on.

:duck:

OMG!!!!!! I think I am going to run on out of here before I get in trouble for viewing this stuff from work ;)

I'm finally going to start taking down the Christmas tree. I will take all of the ornaments off and let DH and kids find the proper ornament boxes tonight. I hate taking everything down.

BTW, who fed my dog the gassy food? Whew, she is terrible today!!! She'd better not lay down by the fireplace, or my house will be going up in flames! :o

If you ever notice your dog dressed like this

It's probably a good idea to give them some space for awhile!

A sure sign that Alan has WAY too much free time on his hands.

For the last few evenings we have also had gaseous emissions from Max, I wonder if the masks come in Sadie size?

Well let AA use some of that time to issue an apology! When I called Gail Schlubby (or however we spelled it at that point) referencing her cable company thread..it was, of course, meant as a term of endearment.

What else would a Southern Gentleman say to a lady of such quality, after all?

However, after referring to her son as the schlubster (would schlubling have been more appropriate?), I decided I should look it up and discovered it is more of an insult.

The horror. :scared1:

In the future I shall consult my Yiddish-American dictionary before applying inappropriate nicknames ;)

I'm not up to speed on Yiddish these days so no offense taken kind sir. :D

The boards have been much too slow today for me to play. :(

Hiya All,

Sorry... far too much to catch up on, tho' I have scan-read most of the pages I missed and you sure all seem to have been having fun... if that's the right word!

Had a migraine most of Sunday which has left me pretty ill today but seem to be on an upswing now so hopefully tomorrow will be brighter!

We have talked to the vet about getting a second cat (with Mips being the little tomboy she is I didn't know whether this was a good idea/bad idea, female or male best?, kitten or cat best?) anyways, they recommend a female kitten so Mips doesn't feel intimdated and may even 'mother' the newcomer so a new little kitten is what we shall have once settled in the new house.

Talking of the new house it looks like we will be in by end of Jan/first week of Feb.

Think thats all, take care everyone and don't put up with such insults from Mr AA!!! ;) :duck:

Cya,

Well kids, I have bathed the dogs and put the towels in the wash. If I could convince Pete to do the alundry later, all would be good in the world. It appears that it is going to snow some more. The road was plowed at 3am, then sanded and salted early this afternoon, so it is nice and dry. But I did not venture out except to the back yard doggy doody area. What a life I have!

Alan, I bet no one knew that term was anything less than endearment. Especially coming from the fine southern gentleman that you are. I always enjoy your post, as a matter of fact, I always enjoy most everyones posts here.

Vent time - the insurance company was to apply the remaining credit balance from my home owners to my new renters policy. Today I got the refund check. Guess I will have to wait for a bill now..............

Is it time for me to move again, yet?

Alan, that's a step too far, say what you like about me (and no, that isn't really an invitation!) but leave my poor little kitten out of this!!

I think you misunderstand. I was not implying that you would do that to your kitty.
