My sister Donna is turning 40 on March 1st, and our mom wanted to have a girls weekend in Cleveland to celebrate. Hmmmmm.......Cleveland......WDW......Cleveland.....WDW...... I think I'd better give mother a call about the virtues of sunny Florida!

Good morning Angels and friends.
Had an interesting Band Boosters meeting last night. The staff that works with marching band, other than the director hired by the school, came in to complain about their pay. They did a bad job of being tactful and really ticked me and DH off. Sarah came home in tears. I thought she was mad because of what we said (and I really bit my tongue) but she wasn't. She was upset about how the staff presented their request. I think she will be ok in life.
Watching the weather forecast with interest. The S word is in the forecast.

Lorraine, I was sruprised to see Sadie up there in the recliner. She usually stays on the floor or on one of the dog beds. She really does need her nails done!

Oh, I forgot from the other day, my son Ian (same as Sandi) has the middle name of.................... Mathew (spelled with one T) This is just another reason that we all get along so well. CS, what is your DBF's first name? We may have something going here!
I just checked Travelocity, Manchester to Orlando from $143. Same as Boston. Does anyone know where I put my AP? Do I have to open EVERY box I packed????? I see Pop Century is getting rave reviews. DH suggested I go to my mothers for the rest of winter, but her part of FL is cold, too. I would much rather be in the world. Even if it was only for like 3 nights, what a nice break it would be. I don't see it happeneing, tho. Guess I will see if I can find that AP anyway.

You know if I didn't have a DL trip and a wedding to save up for (not to mention a possible WDW December again) I would jump on that fare, get a good AP rate and enjoy a weekend there. I agree Marsha, go where it is warm!!!! Good luck finding your AP!

Melissa, I'm feeling better. So glad to be through taking the medicine. Still coughing, but I think I'm finally winning the battle. Sandi, hope you get to feeling better soon!
Talk of trips to WDW make me want to check prices on flights. No way, can't afford it. We're really pushing things to be going on the cruise when Allen is getting ready to lose his job. But I guess we like living on the edge.
Sad story on the news just now. 6 high school students in Choctaw (a town nearby) were in an accident with a bus. One student was ejected. I'm assuming that's the one they say is dead. The others are in the hospital. I don't think any of them are critical. Makes my hair stand on end when I think of David driving. The traffic around schools is so wild sometimes.
Marsha, the dogs look very overworked. You really should not work them so hard.
I've been wondering about Matt. How is he today?
We had a little rain last night. We needed it. No snow in the forcast for this week. Temps are going to be too warm.
I need to get busy and pack up the rest of Christmas. I've been too lazy today. I did go out to the garage and get the boxes, but the stuff isn't cooperating. I had hoped it would pack itself away. Hopefully, by Thursday night we can get the tree dismantled and shove everything back into the attic. Why is it more fun to get it out than to put it back?
