Sandi - I saw that story in the paper and thought that had to be the house you were talking about - did you get to dance on the dance floor?

The lights were going, the music was going but I couldn't get Billy out there!

Marsha, Congrats on signing the papers!

Gail, hoping your FIL improves quickly in the hospital.

hmmm I AM making chicken fajitas and I DO have some frozen margaritas.

I came from the clearance rack???  :teeth:

Heading out soon for our bowling league. Sandi - we bowled in your neck of the woods last night for work. Lokay Lanes on Moss Side Blvd. We should have stayed overnight at your house!

Good evening all.

Sarah is babysitting. Andrew is at a birthday party. Jack is out renting a movie. I get to stay in the warm house.

Gail, I am glad your FIL is going to be treated in the hospital. Hopefully he will make a quick recovery.

Everyone stay safe in this weather.

ah yes, the power of the QUOTE button.......that's what Brian really said.......before he came back and changed his answer....when he was warned that the Lars really is a big swedish skier in drag :rotfl:

 I'm a what???!!!???? yeeeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhno

After looking at LK's and Lars' reactions to earlier comments that proves that you all are perfectly capable of riling each other up without any help from me.

However.....what's up with MP needing shelving and baskets for the laundry? What's next a rope and a trampoline====>:yo-yo:

Okay so I couldn't leave it at that.....

For LK:

Steph is making spaghetti later on? Very cool!! I know that the power of suggestion is quite strong for me at times. Like someone mentioned ice cream and now I am ready for a hot fudge sundae ::yes::

Sandy, I hope you enjoy your time at the symphony, it has been forever since I've gone!!!

Congrats on signing Marsha!!! Good drink to celebrate with too!!

Lorraine, did the kids have fun sledding??

Merry, just would hate to cause trouble with kitties in the house. Amy can always come and visit them. We can watch Pirates a time or two as well ;)

LOL, I had *no* clue there was such a song!!! So sorry about that Brian!!!

Gail, I hope that your FIL recovers quickly. I just had a friend of mine in the hospital for 11 days with that.

Sandi, sounds like a great dinner... so when are we to come over and enjoy it with you? ;)

LK, have fun bowling tonight!! I hope you do better than I normally do ;)

Carol, I hope you have a nice evening. Great when you can stay indoors isn't it?

LOL, Lars... you aren't a Swedish skier in drag??? :p

Lou you are a silly silly man ;)

Boring day here... wish it weren't so, but oh well ;)

How were the roads?? Billy and I were going to go to Monroeville to eat after the gym, but the roads were so bad at 7:00, we decided to just come home!

E, that's one of our favorite dinners here. I make it about once every other week. You're welcome anytime!!

Sandy, enjoy the Symphony! I've never been.

I get to stay in tonight also!

There is a Trading Spaces Pittsburgh episode on tonight!!

My shelf is finished. Now I just need to buy the baskets. Hey Lou, I'm just trying to be creative and spice up my marriage. :teeth: Who knows what we'll try next? Maybe storage bins in the closet. A rope and a trampoline? I'll have to think on that one.

Gail, I'm glad they are keeping him in the hospital. Hope he recovers quickly. Have fun at the birthday party.

Marsha, glad the signing went well. Bet you can't wait til it's finished. Now the real waiting begins.

Lars is a Swedish skiier in drag? I'm shocked at this news, but somehow I doubt it!

Stay warm Carol. When it's cold I'm all for a good movie.

LK, have fun bowling.

Sandi, we are fixing tacos. It must be Mexican night. ::yes::

Thanks Sandi!! Some day soon I will have to make it back to Pittsburgh :)

Hmmm, I seem to be out of the loop tonight... Merry is having Mexican too... I was off and had some Chinese :)

Quiet in here tonight... I hope you all are having a good evening :)

:wave2: Hi All!

Do you know the Swedish word for meatball? It sounds like you're swearing in English!!! :p

Finally home and trying to get warm....it's all of 7 degrees outside. FIL got settled and is following orders....MIL should sleep better tonight.....and so will we!

Night everyone.....thanks for all your good wishes!
:grouphug:

Wow!!! This is an amazing place......ask & ye shall receive~thanks to Brian I now can say that I do know some Swedish swear words:teeth:

Gail~I'm glad that FIL is settled & I'll keep sending out :goodvibes good thoughts for him. I hope that you & Lew will be able to get some rest.

Gail, glad to hear that your FIL is all settled. I hope he recovers quickly!!!

Lars, should I question any foreign language I may hear from you now?

Hey Guys....I'm back..safe and sound....well, there IS a story to that!!!

blame it on the two maragaritas, or even the two tequilla shots (yummmm) but when I came home I managed to lock myself on the breezeway when I went out to bring the dog back in.

course, I have NO JACKET, and uhm..well.......NOT ENTIRELY ALL MY CLOTHES!!!!! so after debating the likelihood of freezing to death on the breezeway tonight....I grabbed an army blanket from the car, and trudged over to my neighbors house. Woke the entire house up, and between the two of us (well, I watched, Kerry did all the work) I'm now back in my house, and will have to explain the broken deadbolt on the cellar door to Neil tomorrow....oh well........

That pretty much does me in for the night...all kids are gone, Neil is gone...the house is completely MINE!!!!! Can't remember a time like that in a looooooong time.

See you all later

Steph, thank goodness for Army blankets in cars, right? Oh my. Sounds like quite an adventure. I have to tell a story. My mom has a ditsy friend, well actually several, but this is a story about one of them. :p She was home alone and she'd been working in her garden. When she was finished, she went into her laundry room off the garage and stripped off all her dirty clothing. She stepped out into the garage for something and the door to the laundry room sucked shut and locked. Now she was naked in her garage and locked out of the house. This creative lady got the lids to two trash cans. She held one in front with her right hand and one in back with her left hand and marched to a neighbor's house. Can you imagine? Glad you didn't have to stay outside and freeze.

So when are we all getting lessons on Swedish swearing? :teeth: Somehow Swedish makes me think more of doing the laundry.

Glad he's settled, Gail. Is he upset that he's in the hospital? Men in my family NEVER want to go to the doctor, much less the hospital.

Well, I have to get up early to deal with the spaghetti and get us to the church on time. I'll check back tomorrow.

Morning all,
Gail - i'm glad your FILs settled and following orders.......why do sick people refuse to do what they're told? my sister stood on a stingray and ignored what her doctor told her and got an infection, so had to have more work done

Steph, sounds like you had an eventfull evening! Hubbie and I are forever locking ourselves out....thank god the landlord is only up the road

Marsha, glad things are going well on the house front, we're leaving buying till we move back to Scotland.

Hope everyone else had a nice evening.....boring sunday afternoon ahead cleaning the house and doing washings

::yes:: :wave2:

Hey, say what you want about me but at least I but clothes on before I go outside.
