HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!!

I just sent off my complaint letter to Disney about our HDD fiasco.

Here's the short version: bus transportation to Ft. Wilderness was all screwed up due to the hurricane. We were given incorrect information from 4 different CM's about how to get there and whether or not the show was cancelled.

PS's were for the 7:15 show, we were stuck at the Wilderness Lodge for over an hour and 15 minutes trying to get to Pioneer Hall. They finally arranged for a CM to drive us over, but we didn't get there until 8 or so. I was so upset I could barely eat and couldn't enjoy the show.

Waited at least 30 minutes after the show for ANY buses to show up. Had to take us back to MK where we waited for at least another hour and a half to get on the Pop Century bus. Got back to the hotel at midnight.

Had to wake two grumpy girls up early the next morning to get to our PS at CRT.

Other than that, we had a great trip! :teeth:

LK, sorry you had such a tough time at HDD. I really enjoyed the food and the show last year, but even with out a hurricane, the transport to get there is not the best. It was the one time I missed having a rental car.

Today's weather is beautiful, I think Stepanie ordered it just for her BD!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
It's certainly been a very nice day here in NH.....even considering it's my birthday. Haven't bought my Dad anything.....he wants for nothing...and i'm running out of time......

I had the pleasure of receiving a package from one of the Twerps today.....Donna thought that I should have the official angel uniform for my birthday....woohoo.....adds a bit to the birthday suit!! lol

thanks Donna!

She also sent me a cute little Mickey/Daytona race car!
Off to dinner with my dad.

Marsha, pass along birthday greetings to Ian, k?

LK, transportation at FW sucks no matter what the weather. I wouldn't stay there again because of that very reason......sorry t hear your transportation from PC was so messed up.

Talk toyou all later.

Steph......I just wanted to share the love!

No need for me to keep that angel uniform all to myself! ;) :D :teeth:

The boards are way too slow!!!!

LK, sorry about your transportation troubles at HDD... wish you weren't late because of them :(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE

LK~ I'm sorry that transportation problems messed up HDD for you:hug:

:bounce: Happy Birthday Steph :bounce:
I am glad to see Donna shared the uniform with you.

LK, too bad about the transportation. Maybe Steph and the uniform can help.

I was super busy at work today but that means a bigger paycheck.

Andrew has only 2 more days to finish his summer homework. I am betting he can't get it all done. Wednesday night will be rough around here.

Okay color me clueless... but summer homework?
Honestly never heard of that before.

Elaine, don't get me started. Both of my kids have had homework in the summer for any AP or Honors classes they have in high school. Andrew has to read 2 books and make journal entries for his AP english class. Plus a project about letters to the editor. For AP US History, he has 3 papers plus a bunch of memorization to do. For calculus he has a pretest to take. Luckily nothing for chemistry. (Blow up your house.) I hate having to nag him all summer. Summer is for us and I don't want him to have to do this all. Let him read for pleasure. But, if he wants the advanced classes he has to do it. And this is public school. My 2 both feel punished for achieving in school because the rest of the kids do NOT have summer homework.

OK, I'll get off the soap box now.

Carol: that must be such a pain. I know the girl that babysits for me has a lot of summer homework also. It just seems like there isn't any down time for kids at all.

Kind of a busy day here. Ran kids around to friends houses. Went school shopping with Kaitlin. Got some other stuff ready for back to school.....
and started working on my girl scout calendar....(UGH)....for the year. Trying to think up some fun and fascinating field trips that we havent already done........any ideas out there?
Plus I need a service project. .......( I am SOOOOO not ready for this to start up again....LOL...it was a nice break!):teeth:

Wonder where in the world is Lou tonight? ;) :D
Will we have another picture?:D :hyper:

Brian: you snuck in on me!:teeth:
All I have to say is: Pictures are someone else's uhhmm, Steph's problem!:teeth:
there were NONE taken on my watch!:teeth:

Carol, I think that is awful they make the kids do all that... makes me wonder sometimes if kids are allowed to stay that way anymore

Donna, good luck with the scouts thing... I was blessed (maybe?) to stop with brownies.

LOL, Brian :p

Hey Everyone,
Had a WONDERFUL time at my parents' house for dinner, and enjoyed the time with my brother who I don't see that often.

Heading to bed!

Night all
