Star - a scanner is the next thing on my list to get. i would love to store old photos that way.

Got a lot done outside today. Cleaned the van and the car which means it will rain in the next day or two. the kids went swimming, and tomorrow looks like a nice day too.

Done watching Star Wars II... oddly I liked this one better than SW:I... looking forward to III so I can see how they tie in the new and the old.

Lorraine, IV-VI will be released in box set on DVD on Sept. 21 this year. I cannot wait!!!

Oh and BTW, did I mention I won't be telling you if you are right or wrong? (Well that wouldn't be fair to someone who gets them right on the first shot would it? That would give everyone else a chance to also get it right!) I will however let everyone know if no one gets a particular one right.

Rain rolled in right around dinner time so we headed back early tonight (after eating at Tony's Town Square Restaurant) since the parks were closing at 8:30 anyway. Cleared up as we got back to the hotel but it was just as well as we were all beat. We got to see the fireworks from Illuminations right from our balcony so that was pretty cool.

We survived taking Sarah to college. A long day but she seems fine. She is very busy with band this week. When we got home there was a message from her roommate on our machine so I gave Sarah the girl's number. I am talking to her on IM right now.

Welcome home LK. Glad to see you back, although you probably didn't miss us as much as we missed you.

Glad the trip to drop Sarah off went well. I'm sure it'll be an adjustment for all of you. Has she not talked to the roommate yet? I'm still really curious about that one. I mean is she from a famous family or something?

The funeral is going to be Thursday evening. Well, actually it is going to be a service in celebration of his life. We're thinking we will let the kids go to their first day of school on Wednesday and then drive up Wednesday evening. That way they only miss two days of school. Hopefully not much will be going on before Labor Day anyway. I think they'll just be settling in.

Loads to do in the next day or two. For now, I think I'll head to bed and try to get a solid night's sleep. I only got 4 1/2 hours last night and I'm a zombie.

Had a nice time babysitting on saturday night, took my parents to see the new house yesterday and them seemed very happy with it....then hubbie and I went out for dinner, nice to get some time alone!!
