Donna, love the pics! Those Orlando pics are quite sad though I hope they are able to get that all cleaned up soon. Kind of scary about you and Sue dressing alike... does that mean the two of you think a lot of like... if so kind of scary isn't it?

I just went out to lunch and now I am beginning to think food wasn't the wisest idea for me... I guess my stomach is still bugging me

Splash Mountain: did you know the waterfall at the end is gone!
the CM told me they kept having to stop the ride to get the idiots who got out of their log to play in it .........he said they are trying to figure out what else to do instead. He said it would delay the ride wait by 5 mins everytime someone got out!

They could crank that puppy and get people on the right so wet with it!! I did notice that at DL they had a similar waterfall and it was barely on (just a trickle or two) I wondered why it wasn't full force like WDW was... wonder if that has something to do with it

Hey everyone!!

I took my grandmother & mother to have lunch with Grant today at school. It was neat to have 4 generations there at once. My grandmother has now had lunch at school with all her kids, grand kids and great grand kids (save my nephew, who gets his turn tomorrow) and my niece who is only 2. She is 87 will be 88 next month and continues to amaze me everyday!!

E-I hope this door closing opens a new window for you!! OH and have fun on the trip if you decide to go....I'd opt for soccer myself lol

btw...Star: now that the kids teacher letters have arrived and I realize that school is one week from today......and my baby is leaving me and going all day.....I have joined the where has my baby gone club! I really didnt think I would be sad....who knew!

Okay, let's see....

Saturday - spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the zoo. I noticed that when I wear a baseball cap I look like a skinnier version of Michael Moore...this is NOT a good thing.

Sunday - had my first day as a teacher of a new Sunday School class. I'm not going to say that the attendance was much lower than I expected, but I did take home a LOT of leftover Krispy Kreme donuts.

Monday - was I around and just not posting? It all blurs....

Tuesday - First day of school (we were the last in the tri-county area) and for Abigail, the first ever. There were a few crying Mommies in the hallway...the kids were fine; the moms were not.

This was a scheduled day off since Mrs. AA knew she would be a wreck, so we both went to the dentist for teeth cleanings (and she had scheduled to have a tooth filled). Do we know how to party or what?

I confess, I have insurance that covers 2 cleanings per year but do not take advantage of it. In fact, I have taken so little advantage of it over the past few years that I will be returning for two more visits for "deep cleanings" (see it at a theatre near you with someone you love) which will involve numbing a side of my mouth to work below the gum line.

Today we both had Doctor appointments. She needed to go for some things that have been bothering her (besides me) and I had to see him because my records were transferred to him when my doctor retired. BC/BS will no longer pay for Lipitor so I have to switch to another cholesterol medication; he wouldn't do it until I came to see him.

We both go back for some other testing later this afternoon, so here I go again.......

Lou: voice mail? yeah right........Like you didnt call me back in 5 mins after you got out of the shower on Saturday! (notice you got MY voice mail! ) And did you REALLY think I wouldnt find you if you moved? .......btw....Test track in parking lot and PM's for Charley....Good Ones!

Stephanie: see if I ever IM you in a hurricaine again if you are going to quote me verbatim and then call it a blondestar moment!

Lars: I think itebay emay just about covers it!

Gerri: telemarketer!!!??? And wait till you see what I say about you and YOUR LAUNDRY while you are gone!

Carol, Gail, Alan, Elaine: got your IM's but you have to be on for me to reply to them....which you werent when I got them.


those of you I didn't call: next time give me your number before I go! I could only call the people programmed into my phone....and I had Steph Im me her number. (which surprisingly she did...LOL)

It actually made my trip even more fun to share it with all of you, my friends who "GET IT" which is why I would call and share every day! I just didnt want any of you to miss anything! (it really wasnt a ha ha I am here kind of thing......I was just excited and wanted to share.....honest!)

High School is expensive - our daughter's yearbook is also $60, the thing is huge, but, there are about 2100 kids in the school.

Sometimes you just want to say "THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!"

Star, I would choose the soccer game too! But since I am not invited to that it is either canoeing or just sitting around all day. Really is a tough choice. I might bum a ride with someone and go up anyway.

Donna, sorry I missed you on IM... shock of all shocks to some, I wasn't online much.

Actually I might be on less in the evenings for a while. My back isn't doing well at all lately and staying off the computer and doing more excercises that I learned in PT might need to happen.
