Morning! :sunny: I'm loving sleeping later this week! :D

So sorry to hear of Andrew's break. :(
Hope his recovery is fast and sending  to you Steph.

E - did you blow a kiss to Clay for me or did you keep him all to yourself....and the thousands of other fans???? ;)

Sending lots of  your way too Star. We were told that we were very luck to have even Matt and were facing similar decisions for #2. For us, however, it seems like miracles do happen twice because as we were considering our optiions, Mother Nature decided to intervene with EB! Speaking from my own experience, there are plusses to being an only child too.

Hope this stretch isn't too hard for you - we're here whenever you need a :grouphug:

Quick :wave2: before I head to school to work information day. Today is also the day I find out who Sam's classsmates will be. I already know the teacher, but I am hoping for some of his buddies to be on the same list.

Star...Sam was an IUI baby and people constantly ask me when I am going to have another. I just tell them I cant financially or emotioanlly afford to go through that again. If for some reason I do get pregnant I will welcome a baby, but I am almost 37 and personally feel too old to do it again. Good luck to you with whatever decision you make. I am here if you want to know more about what I went through.

Hope Andrew feels better today...how did he break it?

Im off now and I still havent read all the pages I missed this weekend.

Morning Gang!:sunny:

Steph - sorry to hear about Andrew! Hope today's a better day "pain" wise...

E - There's no question that CLAY IS THE MAN! Count me in with Gail on sharing those "kisses" as well! Can't wait for the release of his Christmas album this year!

LK - one my FAVORITE days....ONE DAY TILL WDW!!!!! Are you listening to your preparatory music whilst you PACK?!?!? e-mail someone a photo to post here from EPCOT if you can!

Lou - DANCE, DANCE, DANCE you single digit fool you!!! :hyper:

Have a great day all!

:sunny: Morning Everyone..................

Hope all goes well for our friends at WDW and all those headed that way........................

Have a good day all!!!!!:wave2:

Good morning everyone.

I am running late but had to stop in.

LK, it won't be long now.:Pinkbounc

Star, I don't have any words of wisdom for you but will be here to listen and give you a

Steph, OH NO for you and Andrew. How did it happen?? I personally think that any time a mom has to bring a kid to the ER, she should be given a valium at the door. (This is based on personal experience.)

 Have a great day.

LK, glad to know they are all still having fun. I hope that the storms won't be too bad when/if they reach them

LOL, no, I did not blow Clay kisses... I only received one oogling request from a fellow DISer so while he was singing Kyrie, I oogled for her ;) (reminds me to let her know that I didn't forget her ;))
I will definitely be looking forward to his Christmas Album... I started getting some for the house last year (long story as to why I don't really own Christmas music) and he'll be a welcome addition this year.

I will quietly admit this... while Josh Groban's voice alone is far superior, Clay's emotion and energy that went into this concert out did Josh's
running from that one now...

Morning Gerri & Carol!

Good morning everyone :wave2:

Glad you enjoyed the show, E ! Clay will be appearing at
The Big E (fair held for 2 weeks in Massachusetts every year) so I may go see him for myself next month !!!

Lew's keeping any eye on the storms for our friends at Disney.....and for the LK's who'll soon be on their way!

Carol- I agree with the Valium at the door idea!!!!

Morning Gang!

E - Clay was another concert I would have liked to have seen. Glad you enjoyed it.

Val - thanks for reminding me about his Christmas album. Is there a release date?

Steph - poor Andrew! I don't like being in the emergency room either when it involves the kids.

Star - i'm sure you will make a decision that will be right for your situation.

Hope everyone in Florida isn't getting too bad of weather.

Shannon had a good time at VBS last night, but was really tired when I picked her up. It lasted from 6-9. Brendan already knows a lot of who his classmates are for this year. They get their room assignments at the end of the school year.

Do you mind if I whine? Saturday is my birthday and we usually go out for dinner with my mom, but this year we have a family wedding to attend. She'll be with us at the wedding but the kids will not so we suggested doing something together tomorrow, especially since we're on vacation.

First she hesitated because she wanted to wash & set her hair before the wedding  but I convinced her she could still do that. Then she got a call that the painter she scheduled could start painting the outside of her house this week so she doesn't want to go with us. We offered to wait until late afternoon, once work is finished, but I don't think she's going for it. We can't do it on Sunday and I don't know when we'll get another chance once we're back at work.

I'm disappointed and also a bit uneasy in that she is almost 82 and every special event together is precious. OK - sob story over. Any ideas on what we should do tomorrow with just the 4 of us?

 Gail .... and happy early birthday!

I'd suggest a ride to Newport, but the rains are supposed to come tomorrow.......have Lew monitor the situation and go from there ;)

Hmmm, I wonder who's birthday it is today, eh? Does anyone have a clue, eh? ;)

Happy Birthday, Mike! :cake: :bday: :rockband: :thewave:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!!! :earsboy: :cake:

Gail - I don't have any good suggestions for you except to go out to a nice restaurant.

Gail, how about the zoo, an amusement park, the beach, a ball game or a picnic. Hmmm, if it's raining you may be more limited. That just means you need to be more creative. Let's see. How about a movie, a dinner at your favorite restaurant, a museum, a play, an indoor shopping center, a skating rink, or a concert. Or you could buy a couple of new games and have a family game night. Or some new movies and have a family movie night with popcorn and pizza. Think about what everyone enjoys (especially the birthday girl) and see if you can build around that. I hope your mom changes her mind, but if she won't don't let it spoil your day. Make a new tradition with just your DH and kids. Hey, just a thought. Could you guys go to her house and play games or something there? Would she go for that?

Star, I have no real advice for you, just lots of  Ultimately, you are the ones that have to live with the decision. I'll pray that you find an answer that feels right to both of you. I know that adoption is an expensive alternative, but it is out there too. And there are much worse things than growing up an only child. DH is an adopted only and even though he grew up spoiled (don't tell him I said that :teeth: ) he turned out great. I do know that you feel that there is room in your heart and family for another child, but G won't suffer if he doesn't have a sibling. Hang in there!

Happy Birthday, Mike! Have a great day.
:cheer2: :cake: :cheer2: :cake: :cheer2:

LK are you packed yet?

I heard from my mom and the surgery went well. They could see a tumor on the liver and it looked even worse than they had thought. They also saw another tumor in his stomach cavity. The doctor couldn't say if he'd feel better after he recovered. Unfortunately, this cancer causes you to have an upset stomach and feel weak. Thanks for the prayers, guys.
