Things aren't too bad around here. Rick is still job hunting and I am still worried about how we will pay bills. Our WDW trip is paid for as far as tickets, room, and airfare. We just won't be able to eat while we are there I thought about cancelling but we would lose alot of money so we are still going. My parents are going and they have agreed to help us so we don't have to starve all week

I posted a thread about a bee sting. If anyone has any experience with medical issues surrounding stings please stop over and leave your advice. I may end up going head to head with a friend over it!

Well, my flowers made it home, but water spilled on my right pant leg in the car as i was putting it on the passenger seat. i was hoping the police wouldn't pick today to pull me over.

Carolyn, I read your thread and honestly I wish I could help... clueless in that area. And you are in my thoughts for Rick and his job search. I truly understand... went through a lot of that myself with Luis. Just when I started considering selling some big items, we got lucky. I pray something works out for y'all soon!

I can DIS and have AIM working.......priorities, ya know.

and most of my stuff is not lost......still have to work on getting some of it back.....can wait till the weekend for that though.

Back to my Angel Box.....hope I can remember it all...it was SOOOOO awesome!

two adorable little scarecrow figures
some angel treats (chocolate)

a PNC park magnet
a cute thanksgiving ornament
and "Feather" the TY beanie bear with native american attire (at least I THINK that's what it was before MEGHAN scoffed it up)

So glad you liked everything Steph! It was hard trying to keep everything out of Shannon's view when I was putting the box together.

Survivor was entertaining tonight - they always keep you guessing. And The Apprentice was great too. I'm glad they aren't on opposite of each other or else it would be a hard choice.
What to do tomorrow........what to do..............I think I might lay on the couch when the kids go to school, watch Regis and Kelly, and read the paper.

I've been super busy putting together a little scrapbook of Wedding Pics from my sister's Wedding for her as a Surprise! The Big Party is Sunday and I wanted to have it done by then. I found a Beautiful White Embossed Book from Creative Memories, it's beautiful and I've just finished it!!

Marsha, I'm so sorry. I had to put my 13 yr. old poodle down in June, it's very difficult, I know. They're part of your family!

They Newlyweds are coming home tomorrow for the weekend. (For the Big Party) Haven't seen them in 2 months!

Hoping everyone is well

I got up for the early bus (which was then late itself, oh the irony ) today. This was particularly hard considering DBF and I were woken shortly after midnight to the delightful sound of the police knocking our neighbours door in with a battering ram then standing around deciding what to do next whilst the alarm went off. The alarm stopped about ten mins later and three of the *four* police vehicles that had showed up left leaving one and about two officers. We went back to bed. The alarm started up again. Joyful.

(Please don't get me wrong, we live on a lovely cul-de-sac courtyard type place with *touch wood* no troubles. We have no idea what all of that was about and probably never will...)

"To touch wood is a superstition action to ward off any evil consequences, say of untimely boasting; it can also be a charm to bring good luck. The origin is quite unknown, though some writers have pointed to pre-Christian rituals involving the spirits of sacred trees such as the oak, ash, holly or hawthorn.
