Lou, that game sounds fun. How specific do we have to be to have it counted as correct? I'm in.
Mom called mid-morning. The lump was just a cyst. One that they know is benign. It had just grown. They drained it and were unconcerned. They did find a suspicious shadow in her mammogram and wanted to do a biopsy. (This sounded uncomfortably familiar to me!) So she stayed at the hospital and waited until they could do it. They told her afterward that she should have the results back tomorrow, but they feel sure it's not cancer. Yay! I'm sure relieved. Poor woman didn't need this right after her boyfriend broke up with her. She's been depressed enough. What began at 8:30 ended at noon.
Her brother, my Uncle Ron had his lung scan today. He has to wait two days for his results. We have our fingers crossed.
So I am breathing a tentative sigh of relief. I'll feel much better in a few days when we have all the results in. Thanks for all the hugs and good thoughts.
We're off to look at the dishwasher that seems to be the front-runner. I never knew that buying appliances was such a pain. So many choices and so much money. LOL! We're hoping we can get it installed in the very near future. I'm tired of dishpan hands.
Then my DH is taking us out to dinner. Not only do I not have to cook, but I don't have to clean up the dishes. YES!

Star: LOL! I love that movie! A former coworker of mine and I used to listen to the soundtrack and quote the movie to each other when we worked the night shift together! (all this while taking care of open heart surgery patients too! ) I can still hear him saying: TONIGHT....we bowl! LOL!

Hi everyone, just thought I'd drop in to say hello! Been busy playing catch up on things I let slide last week while we were checking on colleges for our older daughter. Lou says, what's all the fuss about, we have 2 years to go, that's a long time; but, after a conversation I had yesterday with my daughter I don't think it's long enough.
High School teaches you reading, writing, and arithmetic, etc. but, what about the essentials........................like common sense for example.
My daughter, watching me put clean sheets on her bed, commented that she felt she would only have to change the sheets once every school year..........
This to me was very scary 
I had to actually explain the whole concept..........She was somewhat 
when I mentioned BED BUGS.......Yes Virginia Bed Bugs do exist!!!!!!
She looked them up on the internet
Stupid me, I just figured after watching me clean for 16 years she would just kind of get the idea that these things need to get done every now and then.

Blech, I am either dealing with really bad allergies (doubtful), a cold (maybe) or a sinus infection (more likely I think) and I have to fly out next week to LA Yeah, I realize I am whining, but I just don't "do sick" very well.
