Lou - I would love to take you up on your offer to be our tour guide if we come to NYC. I have been there a couple of times, but I'm sure there is so much I haven't seen.

Kids and I went to the mall today to do some errands. Ate at Taco Bell. took Brendan for his 7 yr check-up today. He is at 75% for his weight, and is off the charts for his height!! I just laughed since I can tell he is shooting up.

Going to a Tastefully Simple party tonight at one of the mom's from Brendan's class. Anything w/ food is good w/ me!

I've gotta say, I love Ohio weather sometimes. This afternoon when I got home, it was hot and sunny, and I was enjoying the warmth. I am a bit tired today (okay extremely tired) and I have to say the weather went with my mood. The storm came in and it got quiet and peaceful.

I admit I love the rain... I love a good storm, and I just sat out under my porch as it thundered, lighteninged and poured away while reading. A perfect way to spend some time.

Fortunately the weather is going with my moods and I am hungry now, and don't feel like cooking. Seems the rain stopped to allow me to go get food

Hiya Everyone

Late here, but am up watching kittens and also my favourite singer (who I was going to go see live but couldn't) is on the tv (its almost live, she sang about an hour ago).... anyways.....

Kittens are fine. Very very sweet but also a little shy (they are hiding under my coffee table at the mo). Took a few pics but when they are playing they are little black & white blurs LOL. I'll post them tomorrow.

Mips is not too impressed. There has been a lot of growling. But most of the time she has just been hiding upstairs. We have kept going to see her and reassure her.

Too late to really catch up but I did catch LK's picture - fabulous! Love the look LK, love it

Sarah and her friend were home from camp last night and today so we have been doing some eating. Last night I made baked ziti, which I had never made before, zucchini from my garden and marble cake with chocolate frosting. Today we had hamburger on the grill and corn on the cob. The counselors sure can eat when they get home. They just left to drive back to camp.

I am a little sad tonight. It is becoming apparent that Sarah is moving on in life. I was trying to find a day where the 4 of us could go to Dorney Park and she just didn't have time for us. She is going to Kings Dominion tomorrow so really doesn't care about an amusement park. I want to do SOMETHING as a family but she has other ideas. I am not ready to give up my job as her mom.

Well, I think I'll go off and mope for a while
