Sandi, that sounds rough for Jim! I hope he feels better.

I am confident that Papa's rolling stones are now in my past (or is it passed?) but won't know for sure until the doc calls with my results.

Donna, the extra day sounds great, but the chance to fly down instead of riding so long with the IL's sounds even better!! :bounce:

Morning All!

Carol - sorry you had to deal w/ those school issues. love the new siggy!

Carolyn - I think I'd punch the kid next time and just say you were "playing"!

Donna - Was the flight really booked?;) :teeth:

E - Congrats on 8 years together!::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Sandi - ouch for Jim! I hope it isn't too painful for him.

DH took off today so I wonder what he can get accomplished. He already called me at work to ask a question about school for DS.

Lou, you know I just had to pick on you there ;)

Carol, so sorry that you had to be rescheduled like that. What a pain to deal with.

Alan, I hope the doc will be able to confirm that your stones have passed/past or whatever :)

Lorraine, I hope your DH gets something good done today. I officially decided that this week will be a four day week myself. Those 5 day work weeks are killer :teeth:

mmmmmmm....it's been awhile since we've discussed St Krispy of the Kreme around here........yummmmmmmmm

Im bringing Krispy Kremes for Sam's birthday treat at school tomorrow. The poor kids are gonna be on sucha sugar high this week....all the kids with summer birthdays are bringing their treats this week.

One of Leah's teachers had the summer birthday kids bring their treats in on their half-birthdays. I thought that was a good idea.

LK - that's what they do in Brendan's school too.

E - so which day are you taking off? I can't wait to get my LOTR DVD!

Hmmmmmmmm..................is anyone around to celebrate w/ me 'cause it is

POST 2000 FOR ME!!!!:thewave:

LK, that is such a good idea for the kids! I think we just ignored the summer crowd at my school :o

Lorraine, I will be off on Friday... work four days, off four days, work four days... not bad :p

And congrats on 2K posts!!! :thewave:

Morning all!!

Ouch on the big boulder/truck accident. We have several of these in our backyard. When they were clearing the land we told them to leave the big rocks. They also pushed some over from the field next to us. The guy was nice enough to pull a HUGE one up to our yard. It is every bit as big as our kitchen table. :earseek: It is beautiful though::yes::

E - if you play the lottery and win will you share with us? :teeth:

Alan - hope you get a good report from the doc:)

Donna - an extra day!! What a bummer:sunny:

My mom just informed me they are trying to arrange for "A" to come to WDW with us in Nov:rolleyes: . My DH can not stand this child because of everything he has done. The boy is also VERY loud and hyper. I do tolerate him because I understand the issues he lives with although not the reasons he is so mean and destructive. Not exactly the thing to tell us after he just punched Nick last night  Is it wrong of me not to want to be forced to deal with this child when I'm on vacation? I know mom considers him a grandson, but I think they should plan a seperate trip with Nick and him if they really want to do this. I just don't want to feel obligated to take him everywhere we go. We were hoping to spend some time without mom and dad (if possible) on this trip.

I guess I better get back to work here. Nick cleaned out his dresser so I am washing all the clothes and getting them ready for a garage sale.
Later:wave:

YAY Lorraine!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Carolyn, that doesn't sound like a fun trip. I hope you can find a tactful way to talk them out of it.

Um... sure of course I will :teeth:
:p

Carolyn, I hope you will be able to have the trip that you envisioned and not have to share it with a boy that just punched Nick. Can you put your foot down at all?

Well I am happy... I own the TE of LOTR:ROTK and with it I got a collectors edition of Entertainment Weekly that has all about LOTR in it :bounce:

I know, I'm easily excited :p

I am ashamed to say that I did not see ROTK on the big screen like I did the other two.

Then again, I just go for a great story and not the "eye candy" that certain Angels/Yall-Yalls enjoy

I purchased the extended edition of the other two DVDs, so I will probably wait until it is released before I even watch it.

LOL, Alan, actually I got into LOTR for the story. The "eye candy" in that movie does nothing for me as a blonde/blue eyed elf. Really... nothing at all really. So LOTR has me for the story only. And no, Viggo doesn't "do it" for me either... not at all.

You should be like me though... I own the Extended Editon of FOTR & TT as well as the TE of FOTR, TT (both WS & Pan/Scan) & ROTK now. I will buy the extended edition in November. I do see the point to all and probably if they have a true boxed set that offers more than what I have I'll buy it too

I know, I'm sick and twisted... I even have LOTR in text (book) on my PDA :o

We survived the bad weather last night. Unfortunately, we got little rain. Just lots of lightening.

It's a busy day. I just stopped by to say hi. I'll read and catch up later.

I was going to rent ROTK today and then I remembered the season finale of 24 is on tonight..........and that has definite eye candy:
KEIFER!:earseek: :teeth: :hyper:

Carolyn: Just say NO! Just say NO! (take it from someone who didn't!:p )

Merry, glad you made it through the storms. Around here though little rain would be a wonderful thing!!
