There is too much to catch up on. I have to get the house ready since the IL's are coming over for dinner. Also BIL is supposed to be coming w/ the baby. I am making stuffed shells, salad, fruit and veggies for dinner. Why do I volunteer for this stuff. Probably 'cause no one else will.

Everytime I hear someone making stuffed shells I am reminded of a childhood story growing up in New York City. I lived near Little Italy not too far from where mobster Joey Gallo was gunned down outside of Umberto's Clam House. All of us used to say, "he ordered the clams but got the shells instead....."

We played hookey from church this morning but the girls and I will go tonight. Rebecca is still tired from the weekend.

I grabbed hot donuts for breakfast remembering that if you buy a dozen assorted it is $1 off the 2nd dozen glazed, so I splurged on 2 dozen donuts.

What's that? Oh silly me, I forgot..if you buy 2 dozen you get a third free. Now we have 3 dozen donuts sitting on the counter.

Come and get 'em!

My girls had a baseball cap made for me that has Great Dad embroderied on the center with each of their names below it.

Altogether now....
