Disco bump!

I would suggest a pet store as well for the aquarium adhesive. I know they carry some sealant at ours!

Although I did a quick search on gluing glass and felt and came up with this http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/ah_antique_glass_crystal/article/0,1801,HGTV_11347_1397890,00.html. They suggested a glue gun as well but had paper between the two... but not sure how good that would be for a cloud chamber

Donna, glad that your DH had fun at Mama Mia! I have heard great things about that show!!

Thanks for the save Alan :p

Good afternoon to all!! Its just about dinner time and here I am sitting infront of the computer again.

It sure was beautiful here today after work I went for a nice walk Sandi I know you would prefer a bike ride but didn't have enough time for that before the girls got home from school.

Yesterday we did ride alittle bit around the plan~we were busy working on Alexis' Apollo 13 project. Man I can't wait till school is over!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I hope the week is good too. Have to go start dinner before my DH gets home.

MaryJo, it's a great day for a walk, a run, or a bike ride!

I'm cooking on the grill tonight, it's just too warm to pass that up!
Hopefully before any rain comes our way.

For gluing felt to glass....go to Michaels (or other craft store) look in the scrapbooking section for glue dots or Zots (similar product, different mfgs).
Sam and I ran a couple errands today and got soaked in a cloudburst of hail. But we saw the most beautiful rainbow when it was all over.
It was visible for our entire ride home, but as soon as i came in the house and grabbed the camera the rainbow was covered by more big black clouds. The sky is bright beautiful blue in one direction and scary black in the other.

Gail, I have an email ready to send to you. Unfortunately, I've lost my entire email address book. Allen is going to try to recover it, but for now I don't know how to send it to you. Send me a PM and I'll fire the volcano sites your direction.

I've been grocery shopping. I also got the aquarium adhesive. If this doesn't work I'll go to Michaels and get the dots. I thought I had some, but I don't see any in my supplies.

I'm heading off to get gas in my car (yikes the price has sure gone up!) and take Amy to ballet.

It's a beautiful day. Maybe I can fit a walk in this afternoon. I'd love to get outside. Sorry if I sent my rain clouds your direction.

I'm planning to watch Average Joe tonight. I wonder what the twist is this time?

 @ All Angels :) (I spose TMWSA (the men who stick around) too ;))

j/k!

Well, how are you all? I'm missing being on this thread! I hope to be part time as of next week/the week after (well, at the moment, the week after I will be unemployed as nothing has shown up yet) so I will be able to keep up with happenings on here that much easier!

Merry - thanks again for your help yesterday :)

Ranatra - It has been warm here today, but certainly not for a grill/BBQ! Hope you enjoyed ::yes::

E - I agree that Johnny should have won the oscar, but saying that, I haven't seen Mystic River so who knows?! Am I one of the only ppl who aren't all that bothered by the oscars tho? I haven't watched any of the show and I probably won't be bothering... I'm interested in who won if I happen to hear but I dont' actively seek out the results *shrugs*, DBF does tho' so he can continue to be the film nut over here :)

Alan - I would certainly be upset about that! Poor Lela! I saw a trailer before Lost in Translation the other week for "The Passion of the Christ" and just that bit had tears to my eyes!

Hugs and Waves to you all who I haven't mentioned above - hope everyone is well!!

Cya,
Gaspode

Good Evening Everyone!

MP - I watch Average Joe too and am anxious to see the finale tonight. The Average Joe seems to be the better choice, but her secret is killing me.

Alan - I can't believe they showed a clip of the movie at church. There probably is going to be more than your DW who complains.

Mary Jo - always glad to hear from you!

Sandi - glad you got your bike ride in yesterday. I wanted to cook out tonight, but it started raining around 5, so we went w/ spaghetti instead.

Carol - I forgot to mention that the dress your DD picked out was gorgeous.

Gaspode - still keeping my fingers crossed for a job for you.

Did some shopping this morning w/ DD and she picked out a skirt and top for Easter. She LOVES clothes, am I in for some trouble or what?! Got our income tax return back on Friday. Woo Hoo!

Brian :wave2:

Evening all! :wave2:

I've had trouble getting on the boards today and even now I can't always connect to the server.

Things are going well for FIL and I'm sure it's partly due to all the good wishes from my friends. Thanks! :D

I haven't been able to read much so I'm hoping everyone is doing well. Fairly nice day here but with a sea breeze so it didn't get that warm. The sun is higher in the sky however and it looks like March out there. Not to be impatient....but I'd much rather have it look like....and be May right now! :sunny:

AI fans - there's a best of the worst show on tonight.

Well, I got our London Broil cooked before the rain came, but it's only a drizzle.

Gail, Thanks for the reminder about AI! I would have forgotten!

SB, If your DD is already into clothes, you ARE in trouble!!
My DD was exactly the same way!

Gaspode, Good to see you! We've missed you too!!

<<<<<<<Lookie Lookie 4,000!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Sandi, congrats on 4,000 posts!:Pinkbounc Looking forward to your next 4,000 too!

I had a lot to eat at lunch today, so I wasn't hungry enough to make dinner. The rest of the family had to make do with whatever was left over in the fridge. :o

Thanks for the AI reminder!

Good evening everyone.

DD still is stuffy but was well enough to go order the prom dress. It was available in her size and color although we will have to have it hemmed. Should be in mid-April.

DH went to the accountant today. Every year for the past 20, we have gotten our taxes back about April 14. We never know if we will owe or get a refund. Taday, the taxes were done and we get a refund big enough to cover our WDW trip plus a little more. WOOHOO!!

Tomorrow I have to take DS to get a cavity filled. He is a little anxious. This is the first filling for either of my kids. I promised him we would go to Dick's then lunch after.

Still nice here but rain is predicted.

We had to eat in shifts tonight. I hate that! David had to be at the university by 7:15, to tour the athletic facitilities with his medical post. Amy had slipper and pointe classes tonight, so I had to feed him early and the rest of us ate later. We had spaghetti too SB, but it isn't as good when it sits around for a while.

I wanted to fix steak tonight, but couldn't figure out how to keep it without overcooking DH's. I think I'm making a stab at steak and baked potato tomorrow.

Amy and I tried to watch AI, but Allen didn't want to. I figure if I want the tv for Average Joe, I better let him watch something else now. He says there are enough mediocre entertainers without searching them out.

Hi all... feeling a little better now than I did before. I admit I swear by Zicam ;) I bought a new pair of shoes so when I head to Chicago in April, I will have nice cozy feeling shoes to wear :) I also did laundry and rode my bike (stationary) for a while... didn't go too far though.

I am glad you Pittsburg Angels had such a beautiful day! It was warmer here but full of rain!!!!

Bethany, I heard that Chicagoland had hail today!! Truly amazing to me! I am glad you guys were able to see a beautiful sky afterwards though :)

Merry, I hope that the aquarium stuff does the trick for you!

Melissa, I usually don't seek out all the results for the Oscars, but if I saw a movie or a paritcular performance throughout the year that was excellent and it got nominated, I'll seek out the answers to that (if that makes sense). My sister must be more like your DBF... she gets really into it all!

Lorraine, thanks for that reminder... I need Luis to do our tax returns :)

:wave2: Hi Gail! I saw a little of that AI show tonight... I was doing some sit ups on my excercise ball in the same room that Luis was watching it. Some of it was just terrible

Sandi, congratulations on 4000!!!!!!

Carol, glad that Sarah got her dress and that you got your refund already!! THat's great! Good luck to your DS with his cavity tomorrow. I had weak enamel on my teeth (born that way) so when any of my new molars came in I had a cavity instantly. So I have a good number of fillings. Just tell him to be careful when he eats after ;)

Hey, where's Lou for my daily recap?

DH is watching Pulp Fiction.....STUPID movie!
I'm heading upstairs to read Cinderella to my princess!

LOL, Steph, I gotta agree... Pulp FIction was a stupid movie. Just got bored with it and didnt' get into it at all! Now Cinderella... that's a great story :teeth: Enjoy reading it to your princess :)

The weather was very weird. It was beautiful all morning, then (exactly as predicted) at about 3:00 the big black clouds rolled in. Sam and I did get stuck in the hail, but it was weird hail. It wasnt round, but more like giant pieces of sleet.
It would pour for about 5 minutes, then clear up with rainbows, then pour again. It continued like that for a couple hours.
We ran back out this evening and everything was clear and dry again.

I am bummed about Average Joe. It didn't turn out the way I expected, again. And I thought the guy getting angry about her secret was just weird.

I'm heading to bed pretty quick. I have to be up around 5:00 to get Amy up. She has to be at school before 6:30 and she doesn't move very fast in the morning. Tomorrow is state band contest, so positive thoughts for her band would be appreciated. :p

Don't expect to see me very early, though. Allen is delivering her to school before he meets his car pool. That means after David leaves, I might climb back into bed for a nap.
