snappyd is your house OK? I heard about the tornado in your town. I hope everything is OK. Let us know.
Last night was our family dinner. I had such a good time. I got to my cousin's house a little before 6. She was at a protest (against our governor) the little pr***. But moving on. Her husband drove me to the dinner. In a GT. I was sitting on the floor! I've never been in such a small car before. Plus it was a stick shift and it can GOOOOOOOOO. Mark kept trying to play with my mind, telling me that he would be there in 5 minutes. (It would take me 20) Well, by golly he wasn't too far off.
Most of my cousins were there and my cousin Butch came in a few minutes later. He had made up a trivia game with questions about our aunts. I got 6 right out of 21. LOL But my cousin Rosalie won with getting 16 right. She won the prize that Butch had brought in. It was a nicely wrapped box. It took her a while to get off the wrapping paper and then she needed a knife to cut the tape on the box. Underneath a bunch of tissue paper and bubble wrap was TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA a box of salt water taffy. OMG how we laughed.
You see, most of our aunts worked in a salt water taffy factory for years, and I worked for two summers for a different salt water taffy factory in high school. It was a fun job.
We had lots of laughs through out the dinner. The dinner started at 6:30 and we didn't leave until 9:30. I think the restaurant was going to ask us to help clean up if we didn't leave. LOL
I rode home with my cousin Joan. No way I was going to get in the small car again. We had more laughs on the way home.
So here is the picture from September's dinner.
And here we are from last night.
I can see that I have lost weight. Still more to go, but I am happy.
