I'm sorry to but in on your thread. But it's like karma -my Dh is snoring away in the other room so I came on the computer. Lo and behold I dropped in to see how you are doing and saw this post! Thank yo AngelRose for reminding me how sweet the sound really is.

AWWWWW what a pretty kitty. Hope you find a good home for him/her. Maybe put an ad in the paper or something.

It was a nice day here, so I did get out for a little walk. I should have done more. I talked to my friend and then went home. I will try and do better tomorrow. I'm get lazy!

Thank you! I'm in the process of uploading another picture that also shows kitty #2. Kitty #2 is a smoky grey color with a white spot on her chest (it's easier to say her so that's what I'm going to do & we haven't seen anything dangling so we thing they are girls) and white paws. Anyway, I didn't see kitty #2 until day before yesterday. I think she looks like Wilfred Brimley - the Oatmeal guy. So for now her name is Wilfred. Larry said we could call Condo Kitty Brimley. I said "no, she is Condo Kitty for now."

Condo Kitty has a vet appointment Monday to test for worms and anything else and get her first round of shots. But I'm afraid we aren't going to like what the vet tells us. When I picked her up today I could feel her little "milk outlets" hanging down a bit more than either of mine. Lord please don't let this kitten be pregnant. I was hoping the swollen tummy was only worms, not babies. She is just a baby still. But I just read they can get pregnant at 6 months.

So how is everyone? Angelrose did you get to visit the family today?

I figured that would give her a good chuckle. Yes, she has a very special place in our hearts. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of her. It feels like we all are family.

Hello everyone. Wild woman here. I LIKE that. Ron used to call me that on certain occasions. No not THAT! Just when I was acting goofier than normal. I would growl when he would say that.

OK I have some really GOOD news. Chuck called this morning to ask if they could come over for a visit this morning. They came around 10:30. I gave Jesse his new Minnie doll under the tree. He asked where Mickey was. heh heh heh I told him, you can't pull that one. I already gave you Mickey. We all went in and sat down and I KNEW. I asked what was new and exciting like I always do and Chuck said.............



KAREN IS IN THE FAMILY WAY!


I was so happy for them. I knew they were going to try when we got back from Disney, but I didn't expect it to be so soon. But the last few days, I've been thinking of that a lot. So I told them I KNEW IT! Karen asked how? I said I didn't know how, I just KNEW. I congratulated them. I will ask everyone to pray for Karen because she has a lot of medical issues and is overweight. It is very early around 6 to 8 weeks. So we need prayers that she has a safe and successful pregnancy. New baby will be due sometime in September. Karen and I want a girl, but Chuck said he would like another since they still have so many of Jesse's clothes and toys. Ever the practical one. LOL The fact is, it's most likely going to be another boy. Ron had 3 boys with his first wife and one with me. His brother had 3 boys. Ron's oldest son had two boys and then a girl and his youngest son had a girl. So odds are it will be a boy. I will take whatever we get! I am so excited.

Oh, Angelrose, how wonderful!! Sounds like you are over the moon!! Of course, we'll all pray. And you never know. DH's dad was one of 4 boys, 1 girl. DH was one of 2 boys, 1 girl. I was 1 of 2 girls, my Mom was one of 3 girls 2 boys, and my dad was one of 3 boys....we have 2 girls, that everyone swore would be boys!!! I want another baby, but DH doesn't so 2 years ago when I decided to go to school I got an IUD and decided we would talk about it again in 5 years. Now, I have a little nephew that I love to death but boy does he reminds me of how much work little ones are!! (He'll be 2 in May)

Maybe it'll be a girl..then you can dress them up as Mickey and Minnie for Halloween one year!! So happy to hear good news. I bet Ron is overjoyed too. Maybe the Lord knows that this is just what ya'll need right now..a little one to fill your hearts with joy!!

You know ksumn1, I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure Ron is so happy to see the kids and me so happy about the new little one. If it is a girl, you can be sure that the little princess will be spoiled by her dad. I've seen him with his nieces. They have him twined around their little fingers. He is moosh when it comes to little girls. And grandma will be thrilled to buy little frilly things. But if it's a boy, I can still buy lots of Hot wheels. Truth be told, I love Hot wheels myself.

God always knows how to make me smile. Even through these tough times, I try and have a smile. Sometimes it doesn't work, but I keep trying.

Angelrose, while I don't post in your thread often, I have followed it since your very first prayer request for your beloved Ron. Sharing your story as you have, I'm quite sure you have touched more lives than you know. I'm also sure Ron is very proud of how you have handled yourself with such dignity and grace. Your perserverence and determination are inspirational.

Oh auntie, I hope he is proud of me. I hope he understands everything. I hope he knows how many times I wish I had done something different that would have made a difference. I hope he knows how our love will live on in me and our son and his family. I hope he is smiling right now.

That's all you can do is keep trying to find the silver lining. On a side note, today is the 6 year anniversary of my DH's Grandmother's passing. She had a heart attack, then the blood thinners caused a stroke. She was such a vibrant woman, so strong and outspoken. She's still missed. I'm in school and on days when it seems so overwhelming, I can still hear her voice in my head telling me to hang in there. My 6 year old was 9 months old when she passed...I wish she could see her now. She would get such a kick out of her strong willed ways. Sad as we were, she had such unshakeable faith. I remember her telling us that she knew she was going to heaven when she passed, and not to be sad, becasue she would be joyous in her heavenly home. Ron's there too.

And while I'm not you would call a very religous person, I truly believe that out loved ones are looking down upon us. When we cry, they cry and they rejoice when we are happy. Righ now, I bet Ron's jumping for joy. And Shelby is shaking her head, upset with all of us that we're so sad on this day. Because she's at peace. And so is Ron.

Thank you amyy and KimFIGfern. I am so happy right now. I'm hoping she has an easier time with this one than the first. She was on bed rest for most of her pregnancy with Jesse. But he turned out pretty well.

My girlfriend came over this afternoon. We went to Smithville for a walk around the stores and had lunch. She had never been to my house before. She loved all my decorations, toys and everything. Now tomorrow I can start putting away alllll the Christmas decorations. That will take me a couple of weeks at least. It takes me longer now. But I am ready to have the house all back to normal. It will seem kind of dark without all the Christmas lights though.

I started putting away my decorations this morning. I only had an hour or so to work on it. I wanted to broil up my grape tomatoes this morning. I cut them in half and squeeze out the seeds. ICK Nasty stuff. I add some chopped onion, grated garlic, oregano, S & P and basil and them broil the whole thing for a couple of minutes. Just until the tomatoes start to wrinkle and get real sweet. It was very good on my BLT for lunch.

I'll have more time tomorrow to get stuff put away.

Congratulations on the new baby!

My BIL passed away in November of 2008. My sister was only 61 at the time. Her grandchildren are a real source of joy for her now. I hope everything goes smoothly for your daughter in law.

Thanks snappyd. It's for sure that Jesse is the bright light for me now. He looks up at me with such love in his eyes. I truly think Ron has a hand in that.
