Angel Fans...Who Else Wants to Know Where Our Ending Went???

I just finished watching the series finalle. What happened??? I knew there was going to be a big battle and such, but I really thought it would actually end. You know, either everyone would die fighting or they would actually win and Angel would get to turn human. AND WHERE THE HECK WAS BUFFY??? I was excited all season about her showing up in the season finalle. Then we heard that the WB wasn't picking up Angel for another season, so you think SMG wouldn't have a problem with doing just ONE show. What's her problem???

I now find myself thinking I've been lied to. Any chance UPN secretly picked it up and will be running it on their network next season??? I also found myself thinking, what if Angel does die but next season we end up with a Spike the Series show.

I just feel like their wasn't any closure. How can we not have closure??? I mean, at least with Buffy we were able to see her be victorious. Why isn't Angel afforded this kind of closure??? I NEED CLOSURE!!!

Umm...could some one just make up a nice ending for me maybe???

Yeah, I wasn't happy either. As for SMG they wanted her for the epsiode where she was in the nightclub as well as the finale but she was filming a movie and couldn't do the 1, she offered to do the finale but Josh didn't want her. All or nothing I guess...just like the ending NOTHING!! That was a season finale NOT a SERIES one.

That was a horrible ending. I felt so cheated. I hope UPN secretly picks it up. I can't believe no more Buffy AND no more Angel.

No unfortuately I don't think it was picked up. There are a few really good websites that have been falling the series/cancellation. I thougth it was okay...but I also knew Buffy wouldn't be there...I think it would have been cool to have Willow there w/ the wizard but she is doing a stage show in London. What was the deal w/ Lorne??? That is the one thing that threw me...did Angel order him to do that??? Why????

Yeah... it stinks about SMG. I missed Willow (she could have also helped kick some serious butt), Dawn, and Xander...but I guess they had their finale. Josh was quoted as saying he wanted the finale to be the Angel finale and not be overshadowed by the return of Buffy and the Scoobies.

Lorne's final act...a SHOCKER!!! And Wesley....did anybody else want to kick Josh in the knee for that?!?

Did I like the way it ended? Yes and no. Yes, because it does leave the possibility of a movie (David was quoted as saying he'd do a movie, but wasn't interested in a movie of the week thing). No - because....well, because I didn't want to admit it was over!

I don't think UPN secretly picked up the series. I'd love to see a movie that wraps up everything. X-Files did it (kind of)...why not Angel?

Yeah, I think part of the plan was for Lorne to kill Lesley. I think the plan was to make it look like they actually needed him but the plan was to kill him all along. I just can't believe he wasn't standing there with him in the end.

I do have to admit that I am glad that Connor came back for the finale. It was nice to see that he did know who Angel was and he could still have the life that Angel sacraficed everything for. And then in the end he's fighting side-by-side with his dad. That was heartwarming.

I was sure the Shanshu prophecy they made him sign was a fake...just to see if he would sign it. Even if it was real, I don't think signing a prophecy could make it go away.

While it would be nice to have a movie, I think that Angel had at least one more good season in it. This season wasn't the best, but that's only because people wanted to see Angel back in his hotel fighting the good fight, helping people on a more personal level. I miss those days and I think that if there was another season that it could have involved them going back to the hotel.
