Day 4 Grand Cayman
Up early. Need to eat breakfast before excursion. Back to room to get towels and bags and such. We are tendering onto another boat to take us to an island. There is no wait like I thought there would be so we jump right on! Meet nice people, great weather, nice way to start the day! We take the boat to land and follow someone with a Pinocchio sign for our excursion. We are doing the City tour/ stingray snorkel thing. We way almost 30 minutes for a bus which was okay because we were not crowded at all, it was air conditioned and we got our own seat. Tour guide was great...Very funny..WE didnt think we were making any stops at all. First surprise HELL. We went to Hell where Michael learned they serve diet coke in hell. I did not get off the bus but many people did and took pics.. Dont think I missed much.
Surprise number 2. Stop at Turtle Farm. This was the coolest thing. Turtles everywhere. Michael got to hold one. We saw some turtles that are almost extinct. Lots of baby turtles everywhere..Bought a shot glass (Michael collects them, doesnt use them) and got on the bus.
Next stop the Rum Cake store..They had rum cake of every flavor. I think I tried a bit of coconut and then stopped. Someone grandmother took the lovely fork and helped herself to a lovely bit of a cake. Then, she used the same fork to get another bite and another bite until the clerk told her stop but she continued..Grandmas daughter took the the fork away but grandma found another one and proceeded to the rum cake buffet. By this time, Im like Dear Lord. She looks so confused that I take the fork away from her and explan the whole germ thing. I totally think she confused until she looks me in the eye and says ' They aint gonna kick me out".. POor grandman..She had to see the stingrays drunk on rum cake.
To the stingrays we go..We get on a boat where we meet the nicest couple from Marietta with 2 girls. You will hear from them later..We get out swim for an hour, play with the rays and pray we dont step on them. If you get the chance to do this, you have to. We got to hold one, kiss it for good luck if you wanted and just swim around..PLenty of time, and I would do it again. Back on the boat we go and onto land. Michael and I have a few errands so we do a few minutes of shopping before getting on the boat to get on the boat.
It was wonderful.We get back in time to change and get ready for the show which I believe was really good but I dont remember. Dinner with family in Lumieres and then we walk around. We watch Annapolis and head to our rooms to go to bed.

Day 5 Cozumel
Eat breakfast. make plans with the family. Kelly and kids are going on a submarine ride. Michael and I are going to Paradise beach, which Mom and Dad decide to join us on. once again we have to tender to another boat, and once again there was no line. Once we get there, we meet mom and dad and get a cab and tell her Paradise Beach. We pass it, she tries to drop us off somewhere else, and she must take us back..No BIg deal!
We get to the beach, which is free and find a gentleman who finds us chairs and will be waiting on us. ALthough its free, its expected of you to order lunch or a drink..We get some sun, get in the water. They have cool water toys for like 8 bucks a day. They have a water trampoline and an iceburg for you to climb on jump on. They also have jet skis for you to rent if you want. They water was awesome and we spend a couple of hours here. Michael and ordered lunch and I had the coolest nachos. We had one problem with who to order from, but that quickly passed. ABout an hour after lunch, we head back to the boat and hang out by the adult pool for a while...Its so nice and once again we met nice people...
time for changing and getting ready for dinner..Dinner was lovely and then we headed out for the Pirates in the Carribean Party. Its cool to see Mickey beat the bad guys...Then there were fireworks and that was pretty cool followed by the showing of the movie Pirates of the Carribean on the outside screen. We made it about halfway through and had to go to bed. Can you believe they even had another buffet? Totally ignored that.....Day at sea to follow!

Day 6 Day at Sea
Up again early..Plan was to go to the gym. That didnt work. Upstairs I go to get some good chairs and have breakfast with the family. I hung out in the pool and Michael went to do some activities on board, or at least I think thats what he was going to do. Got some sun until about 1pm and then worried about my husband.To the room I go to find him asleep. He tried to watch Chicken Little which started late and the theatre was cold.,He got a 2 1/2 hours nap..Go Michael. I ordered room service, a cheese and cracker tray but we decided to eart lunch downstairs.....It was once again lovely..back to the adult pool we go for a while..Its time to get ready for Disney Dreams, the best show Disney does..I wont tell you anything about it since I dont want to ruin it for you. Michael and I got there early so that Janie and Seth wouldnt have any tall people sitting in front of them and they loved it..It was great..They were so wonderful.
FInally after the show, Seth meets Peter Pan and enjoys it. As the pics show, Janie got involved as well. Back to change. Its semiformal night, and Michael and I are having dinner in the adult only restarant. It was good, lobster, filet mignon, the works..We did get Zeta, our server from 2 years ago and that was nice. This is her last contract as she is heading to Austrailia to study hospitality..Good for her!
I am getting all of my movies mixed up so forgive me..After dinner, we saw Narnia on the big screen again and it was awesome..Totally awesome...It was better the second time..
Backing up a few days, after Annapolis, we found them midnight dessert bar..They had a chocolate fountain which I did not participate in but it as really beautiful...
Off to bed..As Castaway Cay is tomorrow!
Day 7 Castaway Cay
Pronounced Castaway Key, this was Disney private island. They have 3 beaches, family beach, teen beach and he adult beach. We intented to hit the adult beach, but things changed. had breakfast and headed to the beach to find chairs for Kelly, me, and the 3 kids. Michael, monte and dad were scheduled for parasailing. The beach was lovely..Not too sunny..Happy people and Konch Coolers. We found each other and got settled..it started drizzling. Not to bed..so we wait it out. Bad idea. 30 seconds later. I cant see 3 feet in front me...It was windy, thundering, lightening and scaring the kids to death. Kelly decides its time for us to find shelter..People are running everwhere. SHe has baby Owen in the stroller and is having a hard time pushing it. Im grabbing Seth and Janie who are hysterical right now. Janie who is the sweetest thing is saying " Its a storm Its a storm..where is my daddy> is he gonna die? " For a 5 year old, I think this means she has been in one too many hurricanes. We stand under a building until someone says go to the restrooms. We find Monte and run to the boys bathroom..this only lasts about 10 minutes and we can go back out. Apparently parasailing has been cancelled.
We find the beach again and find new places (one with a hammock) and find mom and dad..Michael comes over about 5 minutes later. Another rain shower hits, very light and doesnt even last 5 minutes. The sun comes out and stays out..YIPPEE> We hand out with the family. Help take the kids in the water and MIchael gets some Owen time. Check out the pics, they are very sweet.
Once again, we meet the nicest people. When Janie was scared, this rather old lady just hugged on her and told her about Jesus and it was really precious. Not so precious that I want to do that again.
Michael and I take the trolley to the adult beach to get some lunch and meet our friends from Douglasville. We had good conversation and really enjoyed them. NO more beach time, as Michael has an appt somewhere for something. On the way back, we check on parasailing and we find out he can go. I head up to the boat and Michaels parasails with people from Penn! He said he had a lot of fun.. I hang out at the adult pool run into mom and dad and talk to them for a while..Once again, its time for dinner.
Get dressed. GO upstairs. All the kids are in the clubs or nursery, so its the adults and it was really nice. NO show, but there was a Til We Meet Again presentation where all the characters come out to say good bye, Backing up 2 days..we had a character breakfast which was great. The kids really enjoyed seeing everyone up close..
Anyway, after dinner, we go to the shops where I get something I have wanted since my lat cruise. Its a figuring of Mickey Mouse looking up at a fireman after 9/11. Its apparently only the second time where Mickey looks up at someone. The first being Walt Disney himself...So glad I got it....Off to bed to pack and get things ready as we are going home tomorrow!
last day saturday
We get up not too early, as we cant eat until 830am. We drag all of our things downstairs to have breakfast with the family and say goodbye to our servers which have all been wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and fast. Getting off the ship wasnt that bad but i also didnt see Kelly and her three kids. We are sad to leave but excited as we are going to spend the weekend with Michaels family in Orlando. We head back to Edgwater with mom and dad to get our car and say goodbye. We make a run to Kellys house to say goodbye and show her some old pictures. One last hug from Janie, Seth and Owen..He was pretty sick but still snuggly. WE will see them soon.
To Orlando we go and head to MIchaels moms house where after an hour we are both asleep and wake up at 6. We have a wonderful dinner at an Italian place and head back to visit some more. Sunday was breakfast with michaels brother, his wife and baby (Basil). YOu might see a pic or 2 of him in the winkflash photo album. HE was great. After our 8am, breakfast, we head home so Basil can take his nap and perhaps us as well. Playtime with Basil began at lunchtime and lasted a long while. It was nice to see him and have so much play time..He's always been a happy baby..Sunday night..dinner with Michaels mom and then Monday morning..back to Atlanta...
