Kids woke up and thought they had school, I told them no school as heating had broken down and they were very happy
Then it snowed they were very ,very happy
They couldnt understand why I was so vague about where hats , gloves, snow boots etc were (they are in the car in suitcases)
Have just told them we are off to Ashford in an hour now very, very ,very uncontrolable ...I mean happy.... 
Perfect start to the trip , will report when back , speak to you all later
