And This is Why They Added DOORS to the TRAM! - Nov. 12 TR*END THOUGHTS 11/17 Pg. 27*

Awwwwwwww. I'm sorry they're not there! I can see them okay right now. I was hoping that it wasn't the bandwidth thing. I've been putting off upgrading to Pro on Photobucket. I may just be switching to Flickr soon. I'm too cheap. :rolleyes1

I can see them now!! :yay:

It must really be so cool to be at the Boardwalk. DHS... just walk. Epcot... just walk. I know they're not ridiculously short walks (especially DHS), but still... :cloud9:

Wow, that FP time really shoots up quick. I have yet to do standby on TSM though so I've never been through the whole queue which is just crazy to me!

That whole area is absolutely my favorite. I don't mind walking at all. I'm actually the kind of person that would prefer to keep moving than to stand still. Because if I have to wait at the bus stop for what feels like forever, and I've already had a long day, it's just irritating. Part of the reason I love Disneyland. It's all walking distance!

The FP time was also because it was Thanksgiving. That whole weekend tends to be a little bit on the crazy side.

You've never done standby?! I'm all about doing the standby/fastpass double whammy. But that's because I LOVE TSM!

Perfect description of the TSM dash in one picture. Those bulls seem to be heading for a certain, distinctive group of people too... are you saying something there, Danielle?

YAY for best in vehicle! I need to do a lot of catching up when I get back.

Awww, Poor Gavin. :(

Walking to DHS and Epcot is my dream. Hahaha wow what an amazing thing to be so close!
I also do the double whammy! Usually we take our time getting to TSM so our fps are good for the afternoon and we jump in standby. Works for me!
My arms feel like they're going to fall off after riding that, especially after riding twice!

If that certain, distinctive group of people are idiots that run in front of bulls, than absolutely! :rotfl:

It's so my favorite resort area. I just love staying in that area.

Isn't the double whammy the best approach when you can do it? I always try to do that, unless the parks are super crowded, and we have other things on the agenda. Then I don't want to tie up the fastpass. :lmao:

The most I ever did TSM was 4 times in one day. I couldn't feel my arms after that. Like, at all. :rotfl2:

"Just Another Tasty Treat From the Gang At Empire Records"
Gina - Empire Records

We just left off having to go back to the Boardwalk briefly to take care of a couple things. Epcot resort area....gotta love it! No need to contend with buses and all that malarkey, no sir! It was just a nice stroll for us.

We got back to the park at 10:45am. We picked up some fastpasses for Tower of Terror because.....well because we could!

I thought for sure I had pictures, but apparently I don't, but we stopped briefly to watch the Streetmosphere people. It was a Matchmaker game, where a guest was sitting with her back facing her potential bachelors, and they had to answer questions.

My favorite was the one who was so conceited. His answer to everything was....."I'm pretty."

:rotfl2:

Oh wait...."I'm still pretty."

I love it. We could not stop laughing about that. And yet another catchphrase was born.

We were close to our lunch reservation time. Where were we going my dear friends?

Oh yeah!

So we walk in and have a reservation. But in front of us there's this guy trying to sweet talk the CM at the podium into letting him in. By saying it was his parents 60th wedding anniversary, putting on the whole schmooze. And the CM is like "I'm really sorry, but we're completely booked." And he had the nerve to say "You should really think about doing something for me."

Oh yeah. I'm sorry, because you're better than the rest of the people without a reservation that won't get in.

Sorry. It just frustrated me the way he was so sweet at first, and then started to talk in a condescending manner to the CM. Just don't.

Oh see, yup, there he is.

We sat in the Tune-In Lounge for about 5 minutes before our name was called. NICE!

Our server was a nice girl. But not what I would deem 50's PTC quality. She didn't mess with anyone, no fireworks, nothing. But this one.

He would build things out of straws to poke people with.

Man I want that job.

We both ordered the sampler platter, and just to show that she was a good girl and was eating her vegetables, I had to take photographic evidence.

And evidence that it was finished too.

The meal was good. It typically is. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the meatloaf. That's mainly because I love my Mom's meatloaf, and this is not my Mom's meatloaf. But, I always get sucked in by the sample platter, because I love the pot roast and I love the chicken, and ding dang it, I don't want to have to choose!

Bellies full, we wandered SLOWLY over to TSM. Emphasis on SLOWLY.

I think this sums us up.

We finally made it to TSM and hopped on board in no time. I was trying really really hard to unlock the easter eggs.

Still not my best score to date. But I'll take it.

Cause I was still best in vehicle.

Jeni agreed that we definitely needed to up our arm workouts.

And I agreed in like dork manner.

We decided that checking out Star Tours was our best bet at this point. The wait time was posted at 30 minutes.

If you ever wondered what the underside of an AT-AT looked like. Well here ya go!

I'm gonna take you to the way way back, when I was a wee one obsessed with Star Wars. It's in my blood. I was a Star Wars fan coming out of the womb. And I'm not talking this Episode 1, 2, and 3 junk. I'm talking like, Star Wars, the Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. For real stuff.

We had (and still have) a lot of the toys. And when I was little, my brother and I used to make the Ewok village out of Lincoln Logs. And then the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would come and rescue the Ewoks from peril!!!!!!

I'm telling you. Kids these days don't come up with this stuff!

However, I don't think I spot any TMNT up there. Just saying.

Oh R2.

And 3PO, the best droids ever!

And.......I don't know who these yokels are.

So we hop on board, and Darth Vader stops our vehicle. Because there was a rebel spy on board.

OH YEAH, IT WAS ME!!!!

That's right ladies and gentlemen. I saved everyone in the end. You're welcome.

I also threw my hands up in the air, and literally yelled HOLLA! in the middle of the ride when I found out it was me.

"I'm still pretty."

Of course, I had my wookie with me.

And, I decided that I would be an emo Ewok at some point.

The ride was fun and Jeni loved it! However....it made her feel a little happy go pukey. So, we took it easy for a little while.

Up next: Red velvet cupcake, YOU ARE MINE!

Rock on you Rebel Spy! :thumbsup2 Darn - that is SO cool. I would love that job! :rotfl2:

Lunch looks great. Sorry you got a lifeless server. I guess it takes a little while to build up to being a pro at the job, but I bet its fun once you get there.

I really can't stand people that are users and are that full of themselves. I agree with you - "just Don't!". :furious:

Another awesome score on TSM. I'm so jealous. I'm not anywhere close to that. Boo!

Great update!

OK, recently caught up.

Those pants you are wearing in the "Have I fired anyone today" chapter? Are those jeans? pants? leggings? Where did you get them? I like the color and the fit!

Other than that, I'm so far behind that my comments are basically useless except to say - LOOKS LIKE A FUN TRIP!!! I wish I had someone to go on trips with! So jealous!

Oh, and glad to hear you put that kid in place during Wishes. Quit bringing everyone down, bro.

TOT fastpass because you can? 'Nuff said! :thumbsup2

Oh my, I always get a kick out of people who just absolutely think they're special... and I always feel so sorry for the CM who has to put up with them.

:yay: you were the rebel spy!!!!! I hope you bought the shirt and didn't take a picture with it. That would just be wrong!

You are an adorable Ewok!!! :) If I was in your ride vehicle I would have certainly thanked you for saving the day your rebel you. ;)

Gotta say that I'm a huge 50's PT fan but lately we've not had servers that dish up the antics. :confused3 We want it... we are into it... we welcome it... but no luck. Cooper is my all time favorite server there. He sounds like the guy making things out of straws. And uhhhhh yeah.... that guy who was special and wanted to be seated... perhaps he should have used the line "I'm so pretty" and seen if that worked. :rotfl:

Look at you with your stellar scores for TSM. I need to beef up my arm to contend. I suck at not only the score but accuracy. I do love this ride though. How awesome that you only had a 30 min. stand-by wait. :thumbsup2

I'm looking forward to staying at BW in December. I love being able to stroll to the two parks.

PRIME TIME CAFE! My new favorite restaurant! popcorn::

Ugh, I hate when people feel entitled at Disney...I see it a lot, unfortunately.

 I also want to build things out of straws and poke people. Bummer that your waitress was a little reserved, though!

YEAH for being the rebel spy! :woohoo:

And RED VELVET CUPCAKE COMING UP!!! I would sell a vital organ or two to have one of those babies right now...my kidney will grow back! :confused3

Ah man, your TR's are just the best!!!

Love the TSM madness!! Yay! I sadly only rode once this past trip! Things got a little hectic that day and it just wasn't going to work out, but hey, that's okay, I would have continued to kick everyone's butt anyways! :lmao:

Glad everything got sorted out with Gavin, and so sad that he had pink eye! Glad that seems to be all worked out now!!

Yay for PT, I do like it there, our experience wasn't the greatst, but I'd totally go again!!

Excited to read more!! and NOM, cupcakes

Oh, ps, love all the stuff in the star wars store, I really think you should have bought that e wok hat and worn it daily...

I was so excited! I literally yelled WOOOOOOO once I knew it happened. I'm such a dweeb.

Lunch was good. She was just a bit lackluster. But, what can you do, right?

It just bothered me so much with that guy! I just get irritated with entitled behavior.

All it takes to get a good score on TSM is a crazy sense of determination, and a willingness to look like a COMPLETE fool when you're shooting at things. Works for me every time. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Oh, and glad to hear you put that kid in place during Wishes. Quit bringing everyone down, bro.

They are indeed jeans, and I got them last year at Old Navy. They were the Sweetheart skinny jean. I actually had to get rid of them already, because they were a little too big. You know when they get too big in certain places, and start looking stupid? Yup. That's what happened. I was depressed.

This trip was definitely tons of fun. It was so nice to go with Jeni and just chill.

TOT fastpass because you can? 'Nuff said! :thumbsup2

Right?! That's the way to go.

Sorry Rob. I didn't buy the shirt. :( I was a dork, had to prove it, and then decided that I didn't want to spend $35 of my Disney dollars on it. :lmao:

Great update! :)

Thanks!

You are an adorable Ewok!!! :) If I was in your ride vehicle I would have certainly thanked you for saving the day your rebel you. ;)

Awwww, thanks. I was honestly super tempted to get the hat, but I didn't think I would actually ever get the opportunity to wear it.

I agree! And I think Cooper may have been who that was, and I so wanted him!

:rotfl2: He totally should have used the I'm pretty line. Don't know what it would have done for him, but well, you know.

I'm looking forward to staying at BW in December. I love being able to stroll to the two parks.

This is definitely one of my favorite rides. And anything that has to do with me being competitive is just bound to be a winner for me. :rotfl:

Awesome that you're staying at the BW in December! We got waitlisted for either there or the Beach Club in January. We're at Saratoga right now, but I'm hoping the waitlist comes through. :hyper:

Right?! The entitlement thing is just absolutely irritating.

I want to build things out of straws and poke people with them daily. I just don't know that my associates would appreciate it very much. :lmao:

I want a red velvet cupcake so badly right now!

Ah man, your TR's are just the best!!!

Awww, thanks Katt!

We only rode once last trip too. I think. :confused3 Sometimes it's just not in the cards to ride more than once.

Poor thing, I know. I'm glad he was fine in the end, even if he did have pink eye.

I like it at PTC too. I enjoy the food, so even if it's a little lackluster, I'll still go back.

I totally thought about buying the Ewok hat. And then was like....hmm....where would I wear it.

I totally agree that you should have bought the Ewok hat...... Hey maybe that is something to get when we are there in January:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:.

Streetmosphere performers are awesome! I rarely leave myself enough time to give them the attention they deserve but when I do I kick myself for not doing it earlier.
50s!! I love it there! Too bad about your waitress though. I'm seeing a trend... bigger groups seem to have the amazing interacting cousins while groups of two seem to always have the quiet ones. Hmmm wonder if there's something to that... :scratchin

TSM kills me. It breaks my arm and my spirit with my low scores. :rotfl: But I keep going back!

YES you were the rebel spy! Way to go :thumbsup2

We don't see them as often as we should either, and then when we do see them, I'm like man....they're awesome!

I love it at 50's too. Just a little sad when you get a cousin that's lackluster. Maybe I don't look entertaining enough. Or maybe I look like I don't have a sense of humor..........RRRRIIIIIGGGHHHHHTTTTTTT!

Never ever let TSM break your spirit, no sirree. :thumbsup2
