SOOOOOO good to see some old friends, lurkers coming out of hiding and new faces.....glad you all are here!!!
Does Seth need a Mickey postcard? We'll be seeing the Main Mouse next week, and I am sure he would be more than willing to send him one.
I told Jill I'd give her a break until Bella is three, and she's not even two yet, but next year, I'm going to be throwing in some more coins to try to conjure up a baby brother or sister for Brooklynn and Bella.
I already told you this on FB but if Mickey sends him a card that would be awesome....but if you are swamped while you're there no biggie.
Jill is going to be hiding all lose change from you the next few trips!!!
Hi Dawn. I've been a lurker on most of your reports, but thought I would come out of hiding for this one. I will be in Disney 10/4-7. I am planning on going to
MNSSHP on the sixth as well.
Seth is such a little cutie. It will be fun reading about his first adventures in Disney World.
Cool...maybe we'll see each other! I'm sure I will post on here what our costumes will be. Although Ray tells me he's not dressing up.

My initial idea was I'd be Snow White and Seth could be Dopey.
I was wondering if a perk of being a WDW
travel agent get's you the Park Hours ahead of time....would be great if you did!
Are you able to make ADR's early?
Do you know the MNSSHP dates?
I had no idea you were going on this trip so early... there will be several of us going to be at POP the same time.... hope our paths cross for a quick DIS meet.
It's so nice that you and Anna will have a little friend time together at WDW with your two little guys.
We do get park hours early but only by like a day, so it's not really that big of a perk! Nope, no early ADRs. It's still 180 days for us, just like everyone else. And we find out MNSSHP info when everyone else does!
Well, if our plans don't change I know that Seth and I will be having some pool time (weather permitting) at Pop that Saturday morning (October 1st). Maybe we'll see you then!
Your ADRs look great too! I'd definitely suggest going out to eat a lot at home, as practice for you little guy.
Note taken! We don't go out a whole lot right now but only b/c Seth is in sort of a weird in-between phase. He's not sitting up on his own yet, but he doesn't really enjoy being in his infant seat more than few minutes, either (can't say I blame him). So when we go out to eat, unless I'm feeding him, he is sitting either in my or Ray's lap. And it's hard to eat like that. He sits in a high chair at home but it has full back to support him and he's strapped in. The high chairs at most restaurants don't have a back on them so he can't manage those quite yet. As soon as he's sitting up better, we will be getting more practice!
As far as strollers go, I actually purchased new strollers for that trip (cheaper than renting) and I wanted ones that if they got wet, wouldn't need to dry out. Something to consider, given the time of year we're both headed down there.
We just bought a jogging stroller that I LOVE, and I'm thinking we'll use it at Disney. It rides like a dream and it has a pivoting front wheel, so it's not hard to steer like some jogging strollers. I didn't think about the rain factor, so I told Ray we need to get a cover for it before we go to Disney so we can throw it over the stroller if it rains. Thanks for the advice!
I was wondering if there was a way to get there this year for my birthday but with just having a baby, I seriously doubt it, so I have to live vicariously through you!
Trust me, you don't want to do that!!!!! Seth was a very good baby (and I'm not just saying that - everyone kept telling me that right after he was born - he only got up like once every night, only cried for a specific reason, no colic, very little gas, etc.) and I couldn't imagine taking him there when he was tiny. It would be A LOT of work and you wouldn't be able to enjoy yourself. You guys just enjoy yourselves in June and then wait about a year after he/she is born....it will work out! And the time will fly....trust me.
