Anchor plants

What kind of anchor plants do you have for your foundation garden?

an anchor plant, you know something that anchors your garden for it doesn't float away.

I am guessing you live on water?

an anchor plant is sorta like bookends, or a focal point(s). I think I just know I need about 10

number one i refuse to do foundation plantings,, beds should never be closer to the house than 3 ft,, but our yard is anchored by evergreens and roses, with a water feature centered in the yard surrounded by color beds.
