I had some people inquiring and realized it had been some time since I had posted anything about how my mom is doing.
I wish I had better news to report, but unfortunately, her cancer is spreading very quickly now. This morning she got the results of an MRI on her legs and the cancer has spread there so badly that the doctors are worried one of her hips is about to fracture.
The doctor has recommended that we call in Hospice, so we have an appointment with them tomorrow.
Through it all, my mom is showing extraordinary courage and faith. Her initial prayer, for God's grace to deal with whatever comes, has been fully answered each and every day.
She had me send out an email to friends and family updating them on the situation, and her closing paragraph was this:
