An Obsessed Disney Goer's Pre-trip Report - *UPDATED with pics!!*

Hmm... we're leaving from Providence, so ill have to stash a note somewhere in MCO. I wonder if there is honestly anywhere where a secret note would survive for 24 hours until you got there...? Airport security would have a meltdown if they saw me tucking things behind the displays... but maybe a gift shop employee would hang onto it if I told them it was for a scavanger hunt tomorrow...

This is a hilarious experiment. We have to do it! ill think of something

There are so many possibilities if only we could know which tram or gate or ladies room! you could tape it on the underside of a seat or roll it up into a vent by the windows...tape it to the back of a toilet or under the cabinet...OH or put it into a magazine in the back of a display in a convenience shop...slide it under the bottom of the snickers bars...!!!!

ok so we only have 39 days left!!!!

I am feeling the need to begin putting things - lists and confirmations and as much info as possible - together! I have already started actually, but our flights were changed by a half hour this way and that way. Our itinerary has been adjusted a bit with new ADR's and such. There are a few things I havent done that I should - I havent called to add on the dining plan yet (although all of my ADR's are set) and I do need to finish my shopping list for our OL so we can ship that out a week before. I need to buy Disney wrapping paper so I can wrap all of his check in gifts!!

What am I missing? Help? For some reason the brain isnt on point today....

And after reading Jessica's fun post of crafting all things glittery and Disney-like I feel motivated to do something fun too!!

I did print out colored calendar pages for the next 6 weeks to hang onto my armoire in our bedroom so we can see how many days we have left when we wake up in the morning!! I will take a pic and post it tonight!

Okay - if you cant... do you have a photocopy of them? the number, a picture, a reciept? anything? I think you can maybe call or contact guest services to have them look up the ticket by name or credit card and they can cancel the existing (lost) tix and issue new ones (?)

I found them.

They were...ummm....right where I had put them....in my special box on my bureau.

That panic attack sure woke me up though!

Thanks for the calming rationalization and the offer for Sbux...you rock! If I had lost them, thats exactly what I would have to do - send them the numbers or the credit card I used and they would cancel and reissue. BUT OMG! I considered duct taping them to the inside of my shirt but settled on putting them with the rest of my paperwork and putting it in the safe.

And I really do believe you are so sweet to do that if I needed you! Thanks!

omigosh i love the countdown.

im always the over-eager one who wants to cross off two days at once, or justify that if its lunchtime... the day is "practically over already".

And no stress over the SBucks - a cinnamon dolce latte will pretty much bring anyone back from the edge!

I have trip excitement to bring to you!

ALL of you 3 or so followers...*giggle*

So last night I got my Mickey Mail!!!

*pretend I inserted pic here...and I will do so tomorrow*

I also got so excited that I went onto ebay and bought my very first lot of pins for trading!!! AND a beauuuuutiful lanyard to go with it!!

Those wont be the exact pins I get but there will be no dups and they will be a mix of LE, rack and hidden M's! I will have 20 of them. I dont really know the in's and out's of trading, but I intend on doing it mostly for the benefit of the little Prince's and Princess's out there that I will come across! FUN!

I also have all of my flight itineraries, daily interary, ME info, and notes all tucked away in my Passporter for safe keeping. I have my Owners Locker shopping list down to the last run this weekend and I even have a box already to ship it in! I hope it all fits!

I am going to go through all of my luggage and see which is best to use and begin putting my summer stuff in it I will be taking. I really think 2 carry on's between us will do it! Ok...and maybe another backpack or tote.

31 more days.....!!!!!

Oh and BTW...DF turned to me yesterday and said "30 more days baby"

I didnt even correct him I was so excited that he was counting down too!!!

How cute is he?! Counting days and everything see? Im thinking theres some magic at work here! Only ONE day left in Sept, then you'll be able to say "Im leaving LATER THIS MONTH!" lol.... im always looking for ways to make it look shorter.

Cute pins! Im excited to see which you get, and what ends up coming home after trading My mom and I got into it within the last two trips, and just like to pick fun ones to represent funny memories. Somehow I ended up with a mickey in a poncho after wimping out on Kali River Rapids last year! The kiddos will love it too - dont forget to tell them to look for the cast members with special lanyards (I think its green?) that means they will ONLY trade with children. Nice find when you see them!!

I havent forgotten about our secret note idea either! Im cooking up ideas that wont get me shipped away with homeland security

hey Jessica! I know DFi will make fun of me with the personalized hat and lanyard but where else can you go around like that?

I am looking forward to trading with all of those cuties out there...and good idea to remind them of the CM's with the special lanyards! I bet some of them just starting out don't realize!

OH and as I write this, I looked up and noticed that for the past 3 days, HE has been the one to cross off on the countdown calendar!! YAY!!!

And please let's leave Homeland Security out of our quasi-connecting plans...they would just ruin it!

So excited. Im also interested to see how your ebay plan works out. Ive never bought some from there, and want to know if you like the experience. I actually think its a really good idea for just some generic pins for trading. Keep me/us posted on how they come out.

I have purchased many other things on ebay and never had a bad experience...yet. I have been told that sometimes you can get 'fake' disney pins on ebay but these supposedly arent. I guess we will see.

Disboards has been quiet lately. I am spending time perusing the hot TR's like Riglee's and Nebo's...very entertaining and such good reads!

We should meet up after our trips!

Guess what came in the mail today??

My favorite ones are the 2nd bunch and I almost dont want to part with them but thats the name of the game of trading! Would I be a bad gamer if I kept a couple??

You will also see in the 3rd pic that I received my photo pass card! I have marked my countdown calendar to remind me to register it the day before we leave to get the full 30 days out of it.

Great Pins lady! Thanks for the pics. Ill take your advice and buy a lot off ebay in the next few days. (But Im pretty sure I know which ones youre thinking of keeping.... and I say keep em! lol)

Once Magical Express comes its hard not to just go and put them on your bags right then. I had to reel myself in and stick them on top of the fridge when ours arrived.
