An Obsessed Disney Goer's Pre-trip Report - *UPDATED with pics!!*

So awhile back (I think I told you....) I bought a Passporter to nudge the not-so-Disney-obsessed significant other of mine and I indulged in skpping around and reading at my leisure. Well, quite a few weeks ago, summer took over my life and there it is, still sitting on my night table, waiting for me to remember it exists.

I have decided that tonight is the night I am going to do just that! I will 'allow' (giggle) DF to pick a park and we are going to begin going over it and mark the must do's HE wants to do (shhhh...we wont tell him I already have that list)!

*confession time* I also bought the 2 trivia books on WDW too for the plane ride!

In my nook, I have the book 'Mousejunkies' downloaded and I have been reading that too. Now thats something that gets me in the mood and gives me my Disney fix all at the same time. That guy is hilarious while being very informative!

A couple weeks ago, I brought our laptop to bed and I showed DF all over OKW! I am happy to report that it worked in the anticipation department! Just wait till we go resort hopping and he sees the other resorts!! I can almost FEEL that pen in my hand when we sign on for AKL points!!

Of course, I will make sure he thinks it was all his idea!

SHOES.....

I really think I would like to try Crocs...the Mary Jane style or the flip flop style. I dont want the big clunky ones - I would rather have the kind that goes with shorts, capris, dresses...and since I am packing light I thought it would be best to go versatile.

Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?

I really like my mary janes, they go with everything...shorts, jeans, shorts and skirts! I don't wear them at home though, they are just my Disney shoes and they are the most COMFY things ever!!!!

I actually bought the sandal style rather than the flip-flop, but for the life of me I can't find a picture. These are so comfortable, words can't describe. Funny thing, though, I tried on different colors and found that any of the ones with a black bottom were horrible, but the ones with pink or silver were super comfortable. I have no idea why!

These are pretty amazing as well. It's got memory foam that just forms to your feet and it's heavenly.

I also have a pair of Crocs and my Skecher Shape Ups... So I plan to rotate between the four. I can't wear my Crocs all day, they hurt my back after awhile. Happy Shoe Shopping!

Cute bag! Im a backpack girl inside the parks - but several people have said great things about that Vera hipster... so maybe ill have to check it out. The only advantage to the backpack was... when I didnt want to carry it - Id pass it off to Husband or Brother. Not sure "Carry my hipster for awhile, would'ja?" would fly.... since they're such cool tough guys.

Cant wait to hear more - and im interested in the personalization... how did it come out on the robes??

I have a Dicks' Store near me and a Crocs...maybe I will go and see which is a better deal!

I LOVE the looks of the MJ's! Problem is, I want the purple and brown ones and they wont go with everything so from there the cart gets full. I have promised myself no more than 2 pairs...unless there is a BOGO sale.

We have signed up for an Owners Locker, so I will put them in there and they will also just be my Disney shoes!

Awww...you are so sweet to say that! It must be all that Disney blood running through me! Through your whole TR I was thinking how adorable you and your DH are! Its fun to see couples enjoy Disney without kids!

I love shopping for things for loved ones and figured it would be such a nice way to introduce him to this whole other world! The kids may get more out of it when we do it for them but I know he will be surpirsed and enjoy it! I just hope he doesnt go into the whole cost thing.

Really...ONE DAY??

I will be arriving into MCO airport on 10/31 at 9:30 am and will not leave the property until ME drags me out to catch my 10 pm flight on 11/5!

I was in Target the other day and struck gold on the glo-stix in the dollar bin! I grabbed about 10 double packs and cant wait to go back to see what else I can find to hand out at the parades and while we are in lines!!

My Owner Locker loot is piling up but I still have quite a list to tackle. I guess I dont need to get absolutley everything THIS time to send along before us but will definitely have to complete it all before the family trip...whenever THAT is! I WILL be starting to plan that as soon as we return from our adults only venture though. I have to have one in the works, even if it is an obsene amount of time away to keep me sane. So heres my list of things to get...the ones check'd are the things I have so far:

Ok so after reading Chunkymonkey and Chubbyhubbys latest segment on their TR I have decided that I want to go to Kona for breakfast. But looking at my itinerary, I see the only day we can do this is on our EPCOT day before our Segway tour. We have to be there at 8:30 so its not looking good since they only have an early ADR for 7:30.

Goodbye tonga toast and pineapple macadamia pancakes....

We leave from Logan- I live mins from there so its really super convenient and cant seem to justify the savings departing from anywhere else!
