Isn't she the best?!!

I think getting enough sleep is far more important than DISsing- most of the time. :rolleyes1:rotfl2: Running (if you can indeed call it that) will start again soon. It got way too cold again.

BY THE WAY.............

Could you all please pray for some colleagues of ours in the big city???? The family Andrew (our son) lived with last year- well, their son fell from a trampoline yesterday and got a very bad concussion. They are waiting for the air ambulance to evac him out to London or Berlin whichever opens up first. Pray they don't do worse damage to him in the local system (where they had to go) At one point yesterday he stopped breathing and his own dad had to do mouth-to-mouth on him to revive!!!!

:scared1:

I'll update as I can! His name is Joseph.

She is!! :yay:
Now I see why so many people fall head over heels for her, she probably has one of the biggest hearts I've ever known someone to have. :lovestruc When I say I had the privilege of speaking with her, I really meant it.

Yes, I would agree with you on the sleep front, it's so good to have things turned around finally. Thanks to the good Lord above and you!
I'm anxious to hear more about your training, I'm so proud of you, it's actually making me think I could do it one day.

Without hesitation dear friend.

I've had 7 guessers so far, and with all things considered, they've done very, very well!!!

Keep them coming!!

I think it's about that time folks.... I need to put this tired body to bed.
Sweet dreams for those off to bed or about to be, and blessings to your day for those on the other side of the world in blankastan.

It's a very close game, all things considered, so I encourage you to give it your best shot. Who knows!!!

Oh crap! I'm in third??? How did that happen? I didn't even cheat in the first round! So there's no way I can win the lowest score now. Maybe I'll just throw some guesses at the wall and see what sticks. :confused3

Up to this point, we’ve discussed the benefits of our army having proper transportation to, from, and around the battlefield, the importance of keeping the soldiers’ bellies full with nutritious and tasty rations, The Belle Battalion’s Code of Honor, and many other tropics related to a proper Invasion made on WDW by Strangers –Turned-Friends.

Now it’s time to turn our attention to planning out our full frontal attack- this is where being offensive will really pay off. I don’t mean being offensive in the sense of one not having deodorant on when one should, or not taking care of underarm hair and lifting one’s arm up to hold on in a Magic Kingdom bus- or worse- BOTH; but being “ON” the offensive in the sense of having a carefully thought out and well executed plan of action for raiding the parks.

Let’s take the Battle of Antietam Creek as a case in point- the bloodiest day in American history. First off, orders were sent by disguised messages wrapped in cigars. Those were found by a Union soldier and passed along to General McClellan. Perhaps a better plan of communication could have averted the deaths of some of the over 24,000 men who perished. Lee had wanted to make an assault in Northern Territory (Maryland), in order to disrupt communications and transportation, and just generally cause panic in the North’s capitol, so drew up a force of 30,000 men. Unfortunately, he did not know that McClellan had over 80,000 men, knew of Lee’s position, and was already headed his way. He did not have time to draw up a good plan, and instead found himself in a defensive posture, and having to retreat. His intentions, although, good were thwarted by inefficient planning.

We have had over 15 months to make our plans, and want to be on the offensive side of our assault. Planning for a trip to WDW takes careful laying out of all possible strategies, including the careful use of all resources such as FiPs, EMH’s, maps, charts, graphs, consideration of special events (MNSSHP, Night of Joy, parades, etc…), and of course, input from experts such as yourselves, and, massive amounts of de-classified documents (TRs on the DIS!).

We, The Belle Battalion, have come up with what we think is a good plan of attack for our upcoming Week of Freedom. And now, after so many months of waiting and anticipating, it is time for the Big Reveal! It is finally time to let all of our most patient and loyal comrades (YOU!), who have so faithfully and dutifully followed our strategizing sessions, in on our plans. We hope you will offer loads of insight, suggestions, feedback and all other pertinent, or otherwise, information! (Yeah, so. This PTR seems to be more full of “or otherwise”. What of it?) Please, lend us your comments- there’s always room for enhancements.

So, here we go! Soldier #1’s Day 1 Plans:

NO way!! You're in a VERY close 2nd!! YOU MUST GUESS!! :yay:

How horrible, I hope everything will be all right for him! If they end up taking him to Berlin and they need any support while he is here, I'd be more than happy to help!

Joseph WILL be air lifted out right now. That's all I know. I don't know where to yet, except "Europe". As soon as I know where, I'll let you know. If they are coming your way, Magdelena, I'll make sure they can call if they need to.

Keep up the prayers. Last I heard, he was more responsive. Also, learned that it was his own dad that even NOTICED he was not breathing. That right there is a pretty good picture of the kind of medical care we (don't) get here. :sad2::scared1::eek:

I think it is a better use of your time to just stay and have lunch at POP. You will be able to explore the resort and get some pics. It could take you 45 minutes of waiting & travel time to DTD.

Although we ate at EOS for the 1stt ime this trip and it was gooooooood! :goodvibes

The busses run at least 1 hour after park closing. With F! going on I would think they run an hour after the show is over.

That is crazy! I hope he gets out of there soon.

As you know, Jordan did a little pimpin' on his TR yesterday... I started reading yours and am still not all the way caught up, but I'm getting there! :goodvibes

Praying for Joseph. That's terrible! Some people in our neighborhood got a trampoline and just this weekend James asked us if he could play on it -- we said "no, too dangerous".

Definite prayers for Joseph. I'm always so greatful that my brothers trampoline has one of those nets around it so that my nieces can't go flying off. I wouldn't even trust myself on it without a net.

You may be right. I think after getting up early and all that, I may want to lay low. Besides there will be another jaunt over to DTD later in the week.

Also, if I don't sort of FORCE myself I will never really explore POP. I promised myself after my last trip, I WOULD take more time to really enjoy and see the resorts. (One of those touring tenets from WAY back when- remember??)

Having said that, I REALLY love Earl. I will miss it, for sure. Unless.. unless...

I would think they'd run for a while too. I will confirm this on the transportation board, but I'm pretty sure, like you say, they'd have to run for a while. I really want some pix of the nighttime lights and sights of DHS!

Update at the bottom on Joseph...

Thoughts for your friends' son.

:welcome:

It is WONDERFUL to have you here!! I really mean that. We have a lot of fun around here; hopefully we won't scare you off with our goofiness!! :rotfl:

I'd say just dive in here and catch up as you can. There's still a whole lot to come- but you picked a good time to join up, as I'm just starting to put up our daily plans! :yay:

They've always scared the livin' carp out of me!! I've known about WAYYYYYYYYYYYY to many broken arms and legs of personal friends. I mean if you have one, you're guaranteed to take out an extra rider of insurance. Who wants to spend Disney dollars on that?!! :confused3

Praying for Joseph. That's terrible! Some people in our neighborhood got a trampoline and just this weekend James asked us if he could play on it -- we said "no, too dangerous".

I'm all for letting kids climb trees and ride bikes and "have adventure", even shoot guns, but personally, I just think tramps. cross the line of my comfort zone. Maybe with a net, I'd feel better...?? Maybe.

Below is what I got a few hours ago...(my additions in red)

I just spoke with O. (Joseph's dad) on the phone 5:45 pm (capitol city) time. He said that
J (Joseph's Mom) is in the hospital room with Joseph and has been for the past hour.
A couple hours earlier, O. was able to be in the room with Joseph. The
hospital gave 15 minute guest passes for both O and J, which can be
used once a day between the hours of 5 and 7pm. J is petitioning the
head doctor of the local hospital and ask if she can stay overnight with
Joseph in the hospital room.
Joseph is able to communicate/carry on a conversation and can make eye
contact. I was at the local hospital myself and was able to see him through
the window. He is in a hospital room with four other local kids.
O and J have asked the S.O.S. clinic (western) doctor to come to
the local hospital tomorrow at 2:30 pm, examine Joseph, speak with the local
head doctor and ask if Joseph might be released back into S.O.S. clinic
care. The S.O.S. clinic has said that they are willing to observe Joseph
until there is an evacuation flight. The evacuation flight is on hold for
now until the emergency evacuation group in the U.S. can communicate with (our insurance co.)

First Prayers for Joseph !!

Now for your first plan I agree to hang at Pop till DHS time !!! Their are lots of neat shots to rake !!! I believe my favorite CM in the gift store is OFF on Thursdays unless her schedule has changed but at some point you need to go to the gift store and meet her >> Her name is Elise and she usually works afternoons !!!She lurks alot but doesn't post often !!!

Will definitely look for Elise. I may even take my pic with her. ;)

2 votes for stay at POP... we'll see what the count racks up to.

By the way...

Since I will prolly eat at POP, what does everyone recommend?? I've heard the shrimp lo mein is great, and already plan on getting the cheesecake- (a la GB and Tim!!) but what else is good??

I had this turkey on a chibatta roll. It was really good! It was huge too!!! If you did cancel Brown Derby, I'm sure you could save 1/2 of the sandwich and bring it with you to DHS for dinner. Add a snack from Staring Rolls or another treat or two you could save yourself some $$$ or dining credits.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS!!!!!!
