REally, really it's ok!! Mary says the 2010 hours should be out by the last week of Feb. so there's really only a few more days to wait. Until then, I've been busy getting the version without the hours finalized-----so I can go back and switch everything all around again when they DO come out!!

I think I'm going to buy my return ticket right now...


Funny how you can go months and months of not much real news in a PTR, then WHAM, the magical 6 month mark hits and you suddenly have a zillion things to post and be excited about!!! WOOT!

Today was another big day on the planning frontlines!! I went back to the strategic drawing board (ie. cheapoair.com) and went with my first flight idea. After telling LeeAnn last night what I was thinking, she jumped right on it, and actually bought her ticket right then.

I have no idea what kind of fare she got, as she needed roundtrip (edited to add-- I just got an e-mail and she says she paid $335), but I can tell you mine was a cool $158!! I thought it was an ok price, and that it probably wouldnt' go much lower than that. I think Cynthia is right though, it might have gone down to around $120, but the extra time knowing it is a done deal was worth the $30 to me. I know I saved at least that from my original budget for my Dulles/ MCO leg.

So, it is done- unless something majorly drastic happens between now and my trip, here's what I've got:

Sept. 2 Washington Dulles to Orlando arriving at 10:30 AM for $81 (Air Tran)

Sept. 13 Orlando to Portland, OR arriving leaving at 6:00 arriving at 11:00 for $158 (Continental)

Total: $239

I had budgeted $250 total for airfare, so I'm under so far.

Funny how it's nothing, nothing, nothing. WHAM! It all seems to come together in a matter of 24 hours. Now, to start paying off my portion of the rooms/ packages....

Texas isn't THAT far away... You could get a quicky flight up, and once you there, it'd be free- and we'll have a hot tub, and a river view.

I think I'll have to put a new spin on it....

We won't be moving into the "big house" until spring. But we could certainly go down there and camp out for a few days if we wanted. Cynthia and Cherie could also, and we could have a fun ladies time! Spring is a beautiful time to see the place with flowers and trees and rainbows!!!

I love how the planning just takes on a life of its own after being dormant for days or even months!!!
