An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

Well, it's taken me TWO full days to read just the links for your entire TR(s) (and I even skipped a bunch of the ADR games), but I'm finally all caught up! I find your upcoming trip interesting to say the least. I can't really imagine going anywhere with strangers, so I'm intrigued to find out how this all goes.
Happy 100 days to go!:dance3:

Queenbeaz, you were my own private poster for your first three posts, and now you venture over here? To the dark side? ;)

I guess I can share. :headache:

(just kidding of course) :goodvibes

OMG, I just thought of a request......Rumor has it, Wishes is done for! They are supposed to be changing it to a new fireworks show called Magic, Music and Mayhem. IDK if this is true or if it is a permanent change. Since I doubt i'll get there any time soon, I need a copy of the Wishes CD. The music one, not the DVD. Let me know if this is possible and how to arrange it! Have a fun day or night or whatever it is wherever you are! I am NO GOOD with time zones! :goodvibes

Woooooooo party!!!! party: 100 days!!!! It's almost here!!!

No shame in taking my photo. I only see it as a compliment ;) In fact, I don't even recall taking that one :rotfl:

tate looks great, ready to party
that 100 year thing was crazy
i keep telling my son that so much was different from when i was in 1st grade till now when he is in first grade. he just cannot comprehend no cell phones, no laptop, no cable, no dvd (especially in cars), no booster seats, etc. i cant imagine how different the world will be when my kids have kids
happy 100 days, i am dancing for you:dance3::dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::banana::banana::banana:

Tate's very much looking forward to getting his picture taken with the (at least 3) Momma and Poppa Potato Heads at WDW!

I used to watch Little House in the Prairie and think how cool it must have been- now I've lived here with regular power outages, water outages, all that rot, and for some reason, it's just not so cool anymore. We are really lucky in so many ways to have so many great inventions and advances! And you're right, the world will be quite different even in just a few years- it's changing so fast!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A (brand) new poster!!! :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:!!!

Believe it or not, I had a dream last night that I had a new poster (I don't put too much stock in that dream stuff), but hey in this case, I was right on the money. Speaking of money- YOU should get an incredible bonus for going back and reading it all! AMAZING!! Fun stuff, for sure, but that a LOT!!! I also had a dream I ran out of Trip Journaling pages- need to take care of that right now!! :scared1:

And also, speaking of games.... I have my next game all planned out, and I'll start it when we get back at the end of June. (as a hint for all the regular players) I'll say that you are going to be very thankful you went back to read. :rolleyes1

Mary really doesn't feel like a stranger anymore. WE talk almost everyday on the phone. BUT Mary and LeeAnn still have never met and have only talked once~~~ It should be VERY interesting!!

I recognized that immediately, Glenn! I wouldnt' worry, we share MOST Of the same posters! :rotfl:

As for this being the dark side-- You're the ones going to SWW!!

Wonderful I can do this for you-well, provided I can find it! I will look in all the usual places (all the stores, duh), and snag one for you. We can work out in a month or so the logistics (addresses and money).

BTW, I just woke up. COFFEE TIME!!!!!!

Woooooooo party!!!! party: 100 days!!!! It's almost here!!!

No shame in taking my photo. I only see it as a compliment ;) In fact, I don't even recall taking that one :rotfl:

So close now!! WOOT!

HA! Thanks! I just needed a POP picture. I tried using one off the photo board, but it posted in super teensy miniature size! You always have great photos (you and glennbo and Rebecca) so you're my first go-tos!

Hey Liesa. Still catching up.

Counting it down for you though. 100 is an awesome milestone. Double digits is such a great feeling!

We are still in a holding pattern. Hospice Dr. was apparently wrong before, they are now pretty much in a "could be anytime but we don't know" mode. Meanwhile, life goes on one weird moment at a time.

I'm so sorry to hear that it's all so uncertain right now. I was actually going to PM you, if I hadnt' heard by the end of today.

So, we're in the same boat. "One weird moment at a time" mode. I've taken to some massive insomnia lately; stress sux!

Only 1 1/2 weeks till vacation in Chaostan! Yippee! Sort of.

Just checking in to say WHOO HOO for 100 DAYS!!!! :dance3::dance3:

Hey Tammie!! So glad you popped in to say hi and WHOO HOO!! lots of exciting news coming up in a hour or so. Imagine you'll be in bed by then though. There'll be a 100 days for 12 more days- one for each day of our trip! ;)

Let's continue with our 100 days Celebration!! It's just too much fun to stop now. In fact, I have 12 exciting days of fabulous 100 Days Celebration Posts for you, because our trip is that long!! Doesn't it make sense that every day for 12 days we'll be 100 away from something new and exciting??!! That will bring us right up to the day I leave for the land of revolution and chaos. It'd be nice not to be stoned or shot while we're there spending our dollars. (Hoping that the border stays open, since we just spent $250 on visas!!)

Nevertheless, it IS beautiful there, and this is one of the views we have to look forward to in a couple of weeks:

So, 100 days from now, will be Sept. 3rd. I'll still be solo-ish, and I'll still be at POP with Mary! WOOT!! And today, I'm going here:

I wanted to save this for another post, as a surprise, but I may as well spill it now. The massage is out, but the SEEDS TOUR is in. Last week I called up the Tours Dept. and made my reservation for the Behind the Seeds Tour in the Land at 11:15. It was only $16 and is about an hour long, which is just perfect to get me to my Rose and Crown ADR at 1:00.

Pretty much my whole day will be at EPCOT- until 12:00AM!! Being my favorite park (WS part) I am thrilled to have the opportunity to have such a long, uninterrupted day there to just linger and saunter. Remember that WS shopping spree?? That's THIS DAY!!

So one more 100 days dance, just for kicks and giggles!

:cool1::cool1:

I also want to keep up with the Mickey pages, so we can be done with that in time for our vacation. And you'll see now why I had to tell you about the Seeds Tour.

Mickey's Itinerary Section Cover:

Each day has a 2-sided page. The front has the day's schedule with other minor misc. info. on it such as my suggested snack and drink, ADR #s, major events, etc.... Here are 2 examples:

See how they are stapled in?? I'll be gluing them in for real in a month or so. Don't want to them to be toooooooooooooo permanent lest things change (again).

I'd show you the flip sides, but they are not finished. But here are my ideas:

They need to be customized to each day, depending on where I'm/ we're going. For example, for DHS days we'd need the showtimes, photos I want to get, the character greet locations, and maybe a few HMs I want to find.

EPCOT's flip sides would be different. Make sense?

At the end of the 13 Itinerary Pages, I have a list of all the park hours for our trip- just in case we go pirate and mix things up a bit. pirate:

One last item of business:

I wanted to also share (I promised early on I wouldn't share a whole lot about this) that I passed my half way to 5K mark yesterday. Technically, I finished W4 in the C25K Running Program, but as usual will spend a few extra days on it. Week 5, frankly, is scaring the poo out of me, going from 5 minute runs to 8 and 20 in 3 sessions!!!!!! :scared1:

I can barely, and I do mean barely, eke out the 5 minute runs, and to hop to 8's and then on Day 3 a 20, is just freaking me out, not just a little, but a whole lot!! I know I can do Day 1, but day 3 looks out of the question.

But, to be real, I am excited that I've stuck with it this long, and looking back at when running for 60 seconds was hard, I am feeling pretty good with how things are going. The flab is still flabby, but as they say, something is better than nothing.

Hope you're all doing great! Until next time...

I am still up, but fading fast! The scenery is beautiful! We will all be praying for your safe exit after a job well done.
We saw the living with the Land exhibit once, but we weren't really impressed, so haven't gone again. I am learning to appreciate Epcot, but we are pretty much ride people, so DH can only take so much looking and shopping.

I'm excited for you that you'll be able to enjoy such a long day at your favorite park!

Yeah, it's like what? 11:30 there?

It is a pretty place, with tall mountains and herds of sheep and horses grazing beside yurts.

I can totally understand the "being ride people". My kids and DH are all about that too. Being solo, and then later with just ladies, a slower paced, looky-see kind of trip will be perfect. Although, I know maroo is more a ride person than details person too. I imagine on this day it'll be lots of sitting and slow touring.

I love your 12 days of 100 days - it reminds me of the Year of a Million Dreams which was on for two years!! ;)

The picture from Chaostan looks lovely. I read in the newspaper when there was the revolution going on what a beautiful country it is supposed to be. I hope you will bring back some pictures! :goodvibes

And I loved the greenhouse picture with the pumpkin earning his ears! :rotfl:

You must have put quite some effort into Mickey as well, I was more expecting a note book than so many details. But it looks like a perfect companion for your day in the parks! :thumbsup2

Oh, and I wanted to say that I did not forget you asking about the article on the Blankistani president and the link for the former German president's speech on the end of WW II. I will PM them to you soon!

I figured, "why cut short a very good thing"?! :rotfl:

I plan on doing a mini-TR just on our time there. Last time, I got some super fun pictures of kids herding the horses, cows eating dirty diapers, you name it! It should be full of intersting stuff!

And I loved the greenhouse picture with the pumpkin earning his ears! :rotfl:

When I took that photo, I hadn't even noticed that!!!! It was only after I got home that I realized it was not-so-hidden Mickey. :goodvibes

There is a "notebook section" coming,- actually 2. But the Minnie didn't have a itinerary, and it HAD to go somewhere!!

No hurry, just thought it'd be fun reading at some point. If my printer worked, I'd print it out and take it on vacay with me, but alas no cartridges to fit my printer within probably 1,000 miles. :sad2: (mom has sent them, hopefully, they'll arrive soon!)

The next 100 days will fly by!
You'll have a slice of tie dye cheesecake really soon :goodvibes

I'm debating on whether to skip dessert at Brown Derby and wait til I get back after F! to get my cheesecake. Anyone know what time the food court is open until??

Your countdown means it's 100 days until my Birthday. :woohoo:

I think the Behind the Seeds tour would be great, it's something that I want to do someday for sure.

You need to have the cheesecake dessert at Brown Derby! What we did in 2008 was get it to go and ate it while waiting for Fantasmic, it was perfect. And the cheesecake from Brown Derby?? The best one on property and I've tried A LOT of them. :rolleyes1

6 a.m. to midnight, but during the last hour, you are only going to be able to get snacks, as the cooking areas will be closing down. You may or may not find cheesecake still there late at night. I would bet on the side of 'there will be some', though. What time is the Fantasmic you are going to?

If Leslie votes for that cheesecake, I would give it a try. Since you will be at Brown Derby, you might as well do it right. You can get the tie-dyed cheesecake any other time during your stay, and although it is a tradition for us to get it, I would honestly not say it is awesome cheesecake.

LL, when you go on the Behind the Seeds tour, Jill and I want to come along. :) We've been wanting to do that for a while.

I agree with MeMom, the tie dyed cheesecake is something to be tried at least once but quite honestly it's not great. I'm a cheesecake snob. :rotfl:

Someday our trips will overlap MeMom and we can go on that tour together! :goodvibes

Don't worry about the jump to 20 minutes at all. I was worried when I did the c25k program, and was amazed at how much easier it was than I thought it would be. (For some reason the next week which was back to an interval arrangement was my toughest week). Just see though, you'll be surprised by yourself. Remember though, the toughest thing about running is getting past your perceptions of what you are capable of doing.

It's great to see your progress in the C25K!

I think I can
I think I can
I think I can

Oh yeah - breathe...

I think I can
I think I can
I think I can

I thought you might use the 100 day war somehow in your post...

I only have 12 days left!
