I too am fairly new to this site, but have really felt a connection with everyone. I enjoy hearing their stories and helpful hints. How sad it was to logon today and hear of this tragedy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lynda, Mike and the family. I am planning on leaving a small electric candle (much like the Christmas type candles) lighted in my window tonight. Perhaps this will guide Sophie back "home" to her father and grandparents as well as guide Amanda and Emma to their new home in heaven.

I called the funeral home listed in the paper and was able to get in touch with Amanda's sister Jessica. I shared with her that she has probably over 1000 folks from the boards praying for their family. She was very touched and appreciated the prayers and concerns. Jessica said she would talk to Mike and Lynda and either call me back or post what their DisFriends could do either to help or in remembrance.

If it were me, I'd be hurting too much to think at this point.

She did say that Sophie is a little better but her condition is still Critical/Stable

CM Mom , thanks for doing this on everyones behalf, if you have an update please let us know how both Sopie and David are doing, it's wonderful to hear that her condition has improved a little, hopefully the prayers of her family and all of the disfriends as well as the care of her dr's and nurses will bring her through.
