But he didn't want us to be meeting DISboard peeps. There. On our vacation. That's the way he is. He is pretty private. A little bit cautious. And a big 'ol stick in the freakin' MUD. Shhhhh. Don't tell DH.

Oddly enough, I've got one just like him at home.

I was on a mission. And... I hate to wait around. So I had to distract myself. Or else I'd go CRAZY. Waiting for the car.

I played with matches.

That made me do the silent shake thing. For a minute or two. You're nuts, Mel. But in a good way.

The first sight of the Castle make me feel like a little kid again. Like I am eight years old. With my parents. Going for the first time. I feel EXACTLY the same. Everytime. EXACTLY. I also, at the same time, feel a huge longing for those past days of innocence. And for... my Dad. And I always close my eyes for a second and pretend he is sitting beside me.

Ditto what ZZUB sad here. You have a huge heart, Mel. You know, I read this pretty late last night and didn't get a chance to respond because I had to chase the kids back to bed for the third time in a row. But it was literally one of the first things I thought about this morning as I was getting ready for work. You. Sitting on the monorail, thinking about your Dad. And missing him. My heart breaks for you everytime you talk about him, Mel. I somehow get the feeling the paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island won't be the only thing I associate Melhappyhaunt with on my upcoming trip. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your big heart with us. Again. I love ya Melly.

First of all, I think you misspelled Epcot. Secondly, I totally agree. As much as we love Epicot, it doesn't even begin to hold a candle to MK for us.

The pee stories got me as my parents allowed their grandsons to use the bushes in the backyard when they were there to visit the pool, I mean their grandparents. They didn't think far enough ahead to me having their granddaughter there - if only I could describe the stutters that came out as they tried to explain that one!

My DH was like where are these people? I said we cannot act like we know them so just go about like nothing is going on. I think my DH was even sad that there were no HappyHaunts to watch run like nuts all around the island, so we did it all by ourselves!

Also what time where you at Le Cellier? We were there around 6:30PM but did not get seated until 7pm and did not get out until 8:30pm and we sat close to the bathrooms too. Maybe we saw you. And I tried to ride Malstrom for everyone, since it was our 1st trip I thought I better ride it, but it was broke down!

Yeah. That's what happened to us. I'd hate for you to think I blew you guys off.

It was my husband.

I can't remember what time we were seated at Le Cellier, for sure. But I think it would have been slightly before 8. Because we ate pretty quickly and were out just shortly after Illuminations had started.

You didn't ride Maelstrom?!
