I'm heading down next week, and my friend who is travelling with me had unexpected knee surgery, and may require an ECV. We would probably look into renting a standard one from Buena Vista Scooter, right on the Boardwalk.

My question is can we fit an ECV in a regular BWV studio? We will definitely be using the couch bed while we are there, so it will be pulled out most of the time we are in the room. I'm trying to think where we could actually fit a scooter in the room. Where do you usually store/plug in your ECV in a Boardwalk studio?

you need a handicapped room - they are that much bigger.

that say no tub - only the roll in shower.

They tried to give me a handicap studio last year, they are huge and you could probably fit the ECV in the little hall area right inside the front door.
The beds are lower to the ground and there is no tub.

My sister hated staying in a studio with her ECV!

However, she hated everything about WDW and left a day earlier so she could go see the Daytona Speedway! :confused3

Anyway, she parked it in the front doorway/entrance area and said that it was a royal pain to deal with inside the room.

Thanks for the input, everyone. It really helps.
