Hey thanks everyone. I have to laugh sometimes where my parents are concerned, otherwise, I'd go crazy! I have to say, I am getting a very real perpsective on growing old and am just so thankful they are both still in my life.
Today I was at school all morning. I am really proud of the kids I am working with. They are all memorizing either poems or scriptures for a Christian schools speech meet in November. I am glad I am not judging again, seeing how hard they work makes it really hard to pick only one winner per grade! Then I took my mom to lunch and said goodbye. She only cried a bit, thankfully my brother and sil are flying her and stepdad out to see them while we are gone. She'll be fine and I am ready for some R & R at WDW!
Food today:
Breakfast: cereal w/ skim milk
Lunch: 3/4 spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's, Dr. Pepper. I should not have gotten that Dr. Pepper, I just wanted it and it did Pepper me right up! Skipped the fries to have the drink, which actually saved me about 5 points. I wanted a salad but its too hard to eat a salad in the car. My mom forgot to wear shoes (had slippers on) so we had to stay in the car to eat!
Dinner: Plan to have broccoli with cheese sauce and maybe something else. I am low on groceries around here so I may have to improvise.
Doing great on water as usual, its the one thing I consistently do.
Didn't get to Curves yesterday. Have I mentioned I hate the limited hours they have? I just ran out of time in the morning. I'll go tomorrow, I don't have to be at school so that frees up my morning. I am going to try very hard to get on the treadmill today at some point, even if only for 20 minutes.
This will probably be my last post. I did step on the scale and was down to my weight before the weekend gain. So my current loss is 25 pounds.
Current weight: 221
Starting weight: 246
Was going to take measurements tomorrow but TOM looms and I think I'll wait a month or so. I can tell I have lost some inches but don't think many. I don't want to get discouraged and quit Curves if I don't lose as much as I had hoped. What I don't know can't hurt me right?? Maybe if I'd do some cardio more than once a week I could lose some inches.

.
Goals for the upcoming weeks:
Hang in there at WDW. I am so so so so, SO glad I cancelled the
DDP. Last December when we did that it was not pretty let me tell you. Give this girl a bunch of food, and she'll eat it. I have no willpower. Plan to walk a few mornings at OKW and SSR. And swim too, which I love to do. Also walking around the parks and water parks should keep me burning some calories. I also made myself a punchcard. 10 cocktails total so I can keep track. That is another thing I do too much of on vacation. Maybe I'll just have 5 cocktails twice for maximum affect!
When I return from WDW my goal is to immediately get back to Curving three times a week and doing cardio twice a week. This is the goal I set back the end of August when I joined Curves. I have done pretty well with Curving but very lousy with cardio. I also want to eat on track and lose whatever I am bound to gain while away for ten days. I just want to maintain my 25 pound loss over the next two months until xmas and then really hit it hard in January. Can you believe it? I actually find myself looking forward to January!
Tracey: Our weather is lovely right now but that little mini blizzard did prepare me for what I hate: winter!
Tracy: I wanted the Indians to win for you! Also, that way if we lost the Series, I could at least be happy for you. My crazy son is a Red Sox fan and says he may pull for them instead of the Rockies! This kid has never been to Boston in his life but loves their baseball team, go figure!
Caitsmama: I hope you are feeling better and glad my crazy long winded story of my parents gave you a chuckle!
Stacie: Your January trip will be here before you know it. Thats a great time to go to WDW too you lucky thing!
Amy: We have always eaten breakfast in the room, I can't eat out all three meals. I hate the time wasted standing in line to either order or get seated. I am actually looking forward to just hanging in our one bedroom and eating on the balcony looking at all the palm trees! Have a great trip to Germany, "see" you when I get back. Oh, and Daisy killed a snake in the yard on Saturday, yuk!
