"Amuck, amuck, amuck!" A Pre-TR (link to TR in the first post)

I'm finally caught up on your PTR!!! It only took a couple of hours, LOL.

I don't really remember all on what I was going to comment on, but I'll try. Your trip to the strip looked like it was an awesome time! I love the pictures, one day I hope to make it out to Vegas. Your desserts look SO yummy! I love cookies, they are my weakness. When I finally make it to Vegas, I'll be knocking on your door for dessert! I too love travel size stuff. I have a drawer dedicated to them. I collect free samples like no other. My hair is the same as yours, can't hold a curl for the life of me. I just started using the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo, Conditioner and Stylers a couple days ago, and it made a huge difference. I don't like the way it makes my hair feel though.

I so wish I had plans to go to Disneyland!!!

I like the Mickey-o-Lantern! So cute! The candy corn antenna topper is way cute, too! Thanks for the link, Jane!
If they still have those antenna toppers when we go, I'll get one for sure. I love all the different antenna toppers. Those and the pins make for fun, cheap souvenirs.

Well, haul your booty over here and let's go hang out on the Strip! I was just thinking how I want to go out again. I am so bored!
There are things I SHOULD be doing, like oh, I don't know, making dinner, washing dishes, vacuuming, but somehow they just don't sound appealing right now.

I'd much rather go back and listen to some more drunk karaoke. :cool1:

I'll keep an eye out for that shampoo. Now I have two brands I can try. And at this point I'll try just about anything.

I would say that I'll wear my hooker boots, but you make it sound like I'll want to kill somebody after walking all over the place in them!
Who cares about food and cleaning, when you can be drunk and doing karaoke!!!! :rotfl: ...oh wait, your family would care, wouldn't they? Oh well, I'll just have to kidnap you for a night of fun!

...I'm still trying to make it to the mini-meet. If you get into Cafe Orleans I'll just sit on somebody's lap!

Yeah, boots of any kind probably aren't the best for walking the Strip. :rotfl:
I was good last night and did my cooking and cleaning just like I'm supposed to. :laundy:

I'm STILL waiting for someone from the Cafe Orleans to call me back. They better call today or else they'll be hearing from me again. I hope you can make it!

Thank you so much for posting that link! I love looking at all that stuff. (btw, I keep wanting to call you Jane because of your screen name, but I have no clue what your actual name is, LOL)

I already have a wish list:
the Mickey-o-lantern
the Jack Skellington lights
the woman's Halloween top (doubt they have my size though)
the juice cups
and the candy corn antenna topper

Gee, wouldn't it be nice to win a DTD shopping spree from the Dream Team? Well, just in case I do, I already know what I want. :rotfl:

ETA: I noticed that Target.com and Disneyshopping.com also have Halloween stuff up now. You have to search for it, but it's there. Yay!

My real name is Jill. But if you call me Jane...that's alright...haha.

I just might. LOL With them both being J's I'll probably end up confused. :rotfl:

We'll be there October 13 (late night arrival)thru October 19 (afternoon). :cool1:

That's good. I read that Miley Cyrus is celebrating her birthday at Disneyland on October 5th. They are closing the park at 5pm unless you buy a $250 party ticket (per person.) So stupid.

Oh my 14 year old would want to go in case the Jonas Brothers were there. But no she is not as spoiled as Miss Cyrus is.

Really? Well gee, I wouldn't be too happy about that if I was there on vacation or just for the day. But as long as Miley's happy I guess that's all that matters. :rolleyes1

OT: Right now I am watching Practical Magic with my kids. (just a few parts I have to skip through when they watch it with me) The movie is only so-so but it has Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock in it, two of my favorite actresses.
And I am in LOVE the house they live in. The area too. It was supposed to be set in New England but filmed in San Juan Islands.

I saw a snippet of a Jonas Brothers concert on Disney channel the other day and OMG, those girls in the audience were crying and going crazy over them!!! :rotfl2:

My daughter loves the oldest one, Kevin and after some of her past obsessions as I call them I am glad that she likes him.

I'm glad my girls are still too young to have "obsessions" like that. LOL But I can remember being in the 8th grade and buying those Teen Beat (or maybe it was Tiger Beat) magazines and plastering my walls with different guys.

Then in HS I had pics of the guys from Chippendales. :rotfl:

Her first obsession was Jack Sparrow. Not Johnny Depp but Jack Sparrow. SHe still has a poster of him up in her room. The rest is a shrine to Kevin Jonas. Her locker at school has a picture of him in it. She has a Camp ROck backpack because he is on it, and a Camp Rock binder. But trust me your day will come. And I dread the Chippendale type posters she just started highschool.

Well, I'd agree with her on Jack Sparrow. :thumbsup2

Hopefully she'll hold off on the Chippendale ones. Those were pretty risque. :smokin:

The house from that movie is awesome.

I love old houses.

OT:
Here are a couple houses in my hometown that I think are cool. (But not pretty like the one from the movie.)

This old house reminds me of the munsters house...

This one has been turned into a bed and breakfast, I think....

If you ever get the chance, the book is much better than the movie. It's by Alice Hoffman, one of my favorite authors. She also wrote Aquamarine (for kids) if you have ever seen that movie. Totally kid appropriate, but entertaining for everyone.

I love old houses, not only for their looks but also the history they usually come with. Back in Traverse City, Mi where we lived for 3 years, they had a lot of old Victorian houses that were really nice. I wish I'd taken some pics of those.

I like both houses you posted but I'd prefer this first one because it looks more spooky. :rotfl:

Really? I did not even know it was based on a book. Thanks! I'll have to check that out. Does it talk about the Midnight Margaritas scene? LOL That's one of my favorites. Maybe I just like the song, who knows.

Well, I guess I'd better hit one of the near by book stores. I'm getting quite a list of titles I'd like to read now. Oh, and we rented the movie Aquamarine for the girls. They liked it. :)

Well hey, nothing wrong with a little eye candy! I could go with a good Chippendale picture on the wall right now! Not sure my hubby would like it though...
