Amtrak deals?

Hello. We are planning on taking the Amtrak train from San Diego to Anaheim in couple months post cruise and also from Seattle to Vancouver for an Alaska cruise towards the end of summer. Does anyone know of any Amtrak deals or when they have them?

Make sure you sign up for Amtrak Guest Rewards and opt in for the promotion emails. I don't follow the Pacific routes to be able to give you more specific guidance on sale patterns.

If you happen to have a BJ's membership, watch them for sales on Amtrak gift cards.

I’m waiting for amtraks beginning of January sale so hopefully there will be one. I will keep checking bjs website for discounts.

Thank you. I read that they are doing away with student and AAA member discounts but I’m not either so I didn’t look for them.

They did eliminate the AAA discount. It's no longer an option on the rate dropdown when you buy tickets.
