Wow, they were all really ON tonight! (with the exception of Carmen, who just doesn't do it for me!, and Kimberly Caldwell, usually one of my favorites, tonight was not her night)

I thought Ricky really redeemed himself this week. Clay is so majorly talented, I just wish he could dance. Josh was amazing with Amazed, and I thought Trenyce was fabulous as well. The best of the night, and probably of the entire competition, was Ruben. I predict he takes the whole thing.

Interresting show this week!

Clay- hee hee hee. Oh, sorry, this is the part where I get all giggly. Clay was good this week- big surprise, I know. I think he might be getting a little too confident though, it wasn't my favorite of his performances. I'd been hoping that with the category this week, he'd do something a bit upbeat, so that was kind of a disappointment.

Kimberly- this song screams High School Talent Show to me. I kinda agree with Randy though- it was nice, but not overwhelming

Ricky- Okay, waht is UP with Ricky doing songs by whoever is judging that night? Ricky came dressed as a member of Boyz 2 Men.

I have to give Kim C credit for trying something different this week, even if it didnt turn out great. She looked like she knew she wasn't doing well as she was singing it- that's the difference between her and Carmen. Kim knows when she's bad.

Josh rocked this week. SO so so good. Wow.

Carmen- ow, my ears! I love Randy for his comment about "Wow, Simon's telling the truth this week". I'm not sure exactly why Simon's been so pro-carmen, I think he didn't want to admit he made a bad Wild Card choice, but he was finally honest! I'm sure she's a nice girl, but she Must Go Home Now.

Trenyce- What kind of lip gloss does this girl use? Those are some shiny lips! Oh, sorry, that's the beauty consultant in me working overtime ROFL at Randy's "I have to STEAL a line from Paula"- hee hee, he said steal to Trenyce- I couldnt stop giggling. I agree with Simon though- she wasn't great this week. But really, those lips!

Ruben- THANK YOU SO MUCH for not wearing the 205! I started screaming when I noticed. THANK YOU RUBEN! I may even give him a vote this week just for that.

Wow, Ruben looks and sounds fantastic!!!!!!!!! I really don't think anyone can beat him.

Clay has a great voice, but I think his limitations are beginning to show. He really needs to prove he can do something with some funk to it.

I also thought Kimberly Locke was great, and I always like her.

Bottom 3, my guesses, Carmen (poor thing, I like her, but Blondie??), Trenyce and Kimberly C ( I like her too, but not good enough tonight).

Carmen was doing the Marcia Brady dance again. She has improved from the start of the competition but not kept up with the others.

Ruben-Excellent job! I was so excited he wasn't wearing a 205 shirt. He actually looked as sharp as he sounded.

Kimberly Locke- I don't like any Celine Dion songs, but I thought Kimberly did a good job tonight.

Ricky-I'm thinking this is his last night. What do you think? I won't even comment on the hat!

Kimberly Caldwell-I bet she'll be in the bottom three. She's been one of my least favorites from the beginning. Did you know she's been dating J.D. Adams for a month or so? I just found that out.

Carmen- I actually like Carmen, but I think the song was a bad choice and she just didn't sing it well.

Trenyce-I'd like to see her go this week. I wasn't impressed with her tonight and I'm tired of her winking into the camera and the way she smiles. It's like she is forcing huge smiles, it looks fake to me.

My choices for the bottom three are: Kimberly Caldwell, Trenyce and Ricky (or Carmen)

Are the recaps pre-taped??? Rickey was wearing glasses, and I'm sure he wasn't wearing them during the show. Also, looked like Reuben's hand motions were different during the recap from the live performance. I always thought the recaps were from the live performance, but now I don't think they are!!!

And wow, Reuben continues to be fantastic!

I just don't get it. I always thought Ruben was good, but not awesome. And he definitely doesn't need all that praise he's getting because he's not exceptional or anything! It just makes me and my family like him less and less, because no one I know thinks he's that great.

Clay did great tonight as always, so of course I'll be voting for him.

I thought Kimberly C and Carmen did really bad tonight. I hope Kim C is the one to leave though because I really don't like her.

It was nice to have a guest judge that had actually been keeping up with the contestant's progress.

Simon , though I did mostly agree with him as usual.

Did you notice how they placed Lional Richie between Randy and Paula this week instead of Paula and Simon? Wonder why?

Rickey and Ruben were my favorites tonight. I think Rickey has lots of guts to take the risks he takes with his song choices. I thought he was ON tonight. Ruben is totally consistent, and I love that song anyway. Clay just isn't doing it for me anymore. Everything is "meh," IMHO. He's dull to watch. He's solid, though. His voice is great, but he doesn't know how to perform. I think Carmen will be gone tomorrow night (it's ludicrous if she's not). Also, Josh? I'm not feeling him at all. This isn't "Country Idol," so his constant country twang gets on my last nerve. Plus he's totally inconsistent. I think people only like him because he's a marine. All in all, I enjoyed this show much more than the previous two. I loved Lionel Richie, too.

I noticed the SAME THING! I thought maybe I was crazy and I noticed with some of the other contestants that they sounded a little different on some of the songs.

I think it is definately time for Kim C and Carmen to go. Carmen was horrible and Kim C is good enough for Branson, but that's it! I'm not sure who else I would put in the bottom three. I like Josh, but not up on the whole country thing (but I thought we was good tonight) and Kim L was good, but I guess I would put her in the bottom 3.

Pardon me while I gush about you all and these boards. There is an AI message board, but it's so gross, I couldn't stand it. They're filled with so much vitriol (sp) and filth and smut. Then I was looking through the Community Boards and found an AMERICAN IDOL string on my beloved DISBOARDS. HURRAH!!!!

Now down to business. I really like Clay. He has a terrific voice, he's always very good, but his songs are all sounding the same now no matter what category. Think he will be in the final two if he peps it up a bit and performs. Does anything beside stand there.

Reuben... What can anyone say? Was THRILLED he wore something different tonight. That was mentioned by someone here last week. Maybe he reads the DISBOARDS, too.

I really like Rickey. He is very sweet, but he's not consistent.

Kimberly C. seems more of a country singer than an all around singer.

Love Josh, but he should be on that Country idol show that comes on Saturday night. He only sounds really, really good when he's singing country. Don't get me wrong, he's good, but he only shines with country.

For some reason I don't like either Kimberly L. or Trenyce. Both have some kind of diva complex already which makes it seem they're either trying too hard or not trying at all.

Carmen, aaahhhh, Carmen. Simon must be on the wagon from whatever he's been drinking before giving her such expansive praises every week. She was not good at all this week (or most other weeks for that matter.)

Definitely think Carmen will be in the final three, along with Trenyce and maybe Kimberly C.
