As someone who has seen Matt sing at Monaco Bay in Kalamazoo, Mi (before his AI days) I can say that I'm bummed that he's done on AI. However he was up against some very talented people so I understand the reasoning.

I hate to say it but I truly believe the news was THRILLED that there was an American fatality so they could justify this hysteria! I wish SOMETHING would happen to get us off this subject!

I just had someone that I was chatting with say that she was talking to someone in my area and she told her we had 2 cases here..just checked my local news and I see nothing on that..not sure where that info came from but I hate when people say things as fact when they are not...and that includes the media.

But that didn't stop my MIL from freaking out because we went to Epcot on Sunday and my DH is now sick. (The flowers at the Flower and Garden Festival caused allergies to act up.)

We've got a few cases here in the Toronto with people who were in Mexico recently but all are very mild not requiring any hospitalization.

My friend is going to Mexico in less than a month. She is studying abroad there and will be living with a Mexican family in bufuville Mexico (middle of no where). I told her not to go before this whole swine fiasco because of the violence and problems they've been having and now this! Of course she won't listen and is being very naive and idiotic about it.

I was actually making a joke about Mexico in EPCOT.


I do agree I really would not be heading to the real Mexico any time soon. (I have never really had any desire to go there anyhow.)

My best friend can't keep her mouth shut, she is in a different time zone then I am and lets out hints as to who is going home every week even though I beg her not to. So I knew before the show started that adam was supposedly in trouble. If he had been sent home I would of been more stunned then when Daughtry went home. I threw massive votes allisons way. I guess next week I will have my cell phone going for adam and my home phone for allison, they are both my favorites. I am not sure if it was just drama or Adams fans just figured he was a shoe in and didn't vote as much. I love him to death as does my best friend but neither of us have called in for him this year since we assume every week he is number one. I guess I won't make that mistake next week.

I am sooooooo glad rat pack week is over, I had to pause my tivo and then fast forward through all the performances especially Taylors. I can't stand that guy.

I am REALLY looking forward to rock week, I think Adam and Allison will be amazing. I also hope it is daughtry who is the idol they bring back next week.

DH had to fly out to Houston this morning for work. We had to pack him up last night and did not get to watch the show. I knew that I could find results online so I do know that Matt went home. I have read through the last few pages of this thread and see that the last two standing on stage were Matt and Adam. Who was in the bottom three with them?
And, from what I am reading here they never actually said that Adam was in bottom two. Is that right? Did they say that he was actually in the bottom three?

I have no idea! Wow! How did Kris get there too? I thought Kris did a great job on Tuesday night's performance. IMO, he did better than Danny. I guess I thought Allison, Matt, and Danny would be bottom three with Matt going home.
I am surprised that Adam and Kris were there with Matt!
