I'm definitely liking a lot of the song choices tonight.

However...yuck at Lil's choice. I hate that song and don't think I'm gonna be liking that performance.

I had to google Adam's song too. But I do know it.

That was one of my favorite songs back then! Though I pretty much loved everything by Tears for Fears. I can't wait to see Adam do it. Some of the other songs I'm a little of. Though we were all scared to see "Hello" last year by DC, but then loved it. So maybe someone else will have their "Hello" tonight.

Not thrilled with Lil, Danny or Matt's song choices. Lil's is too predictable and Danny and Matt's are so overdone.

Anoop could hit this out of the park if he keeps it very minimal, without the band and backup singers - maybe just a piano or a guitar. He should go ahead and do a song a capella since he has so much experience doing it with the Clef Hangers.

I called Scott's choice over a week ago....

Adam's is a GREAT choice, its a little known song by a well known 80s group. It is better than an overplayed single from before.

I also called the Tina Turner song as well....

I don't understand Danny's choices-- that is a song from the 60's.. unless they are talking about the HORRIBLE Club Nouveau version... ETA, never mind I was thinking of Lean on Me. I don't remember an 80s version of Danny's song unless they are retreading The Big Chill soundtrack which I think it did... The Big Chill came out when I in high school, so it would fit the year as well if he is an 80's child.

I loathe Matt's choice. Can't make that any stronger than that.

DH loves Adam's choice, but if Adam doesn't pull it back like he did a couple weeks ago, he's going to blow it, IMHO. I like Adam, but sometimes he can be a little too over the top.

I like the choice Kris made, but I'm afraid of what he may try to do in terms of dancing, etc.

It's off their album, The Hurting. The precurser to their Songs From The Big Chair album what was a huge hit here in the US. I hope he doesn't SNAFU it up like what's-his-face did in the auditions.
