It also says that the producers have the right to change the rules at any time, and all results are at their discretion so...

I totally believe that the show does everything it can to manipulate VOTERS, but not votes.

And they are very good at it too. This isn't the first season I've sat watching wondering why they are trying so hard to convince the audience of someone's talent. And sat amazed that it was working on enough people to keep someone of limited talent in much longer than they should have been.

So which one from the Rat Pack do you think they'll resurrect to give the young'un's some guidance?

I'm thinking they would bring in someone the Buble', Connick, or Thicke to be mentor...or maybe Tony Bennett again.

Taylor Hicks is performing next week. You've probably already heard that though.

I have actually been enjoying listening to all of Adam's songs. The studio version of 'Tracks of My Tears' is different than what he did on the show, but man it is awesome. I listen to it and you can just hear the emotion and feeling coming from his voice. I could hear it on the radio today. Maybe not the stations that play all kinds of rap and hip hop, but more adult contemporary.

I've also been listening to the Five For Fighting song (link a few pages ago) that I am just in love with. Never heard the song before hearing Adam sing it and now I can't even imagine it isn't his song to begin with. I get chills every time I listen to it.

When you are a person that loves music, I mean really loves it, it doesn't matter what kind of music it is. It can be rock/heavy metal one minute and the next it can be a golden oldie from the 50/60's. I think Adam really loves music.....period. It doesn't matter what type it is. It doesn't have to be a dance song, a punk song, a ballad or a show tune. It just has to be a song that moves you and speaks to you.

1. He will put out one mediocre album which will sell okay. Not horrible, not good.
2. He will spend time trying to do a second album and get dropped from his label.
4. He will be an opening act for about 6 months or so for some middle of the road pop, soft rock group.
5. He will then veer into being a solo artist or front man in Christian rock or praise music group.
6. He will have a long-lived career performing at Christan rock venues or singing praise music at state, regional and national Christian conferences and youth conventions.

why is it funny? I guess I don't get it. You really think Adam is going to do good mainstream?

I don't know one person in real life that likes him. We all talk about the show at work and no one thinks he should do anything other than perform in theater. Maybe I just know a lot of stupid people but this is a good mix: male and female and ages from 20 years up to 50.
