First post on this thread--had to do it--WOW. That 3rd song sucked so bad it caved in the sides of my TV. I mean really...wasn't ANYBODY listening during rehearsals? Couldn't somebody have spoken up to keep these talented performers from being embarrassed? They had no choice, had to sing it...but someone had the authority to say...we should go to plan B, right?

At the onset of the night, Kara had that proud chested puffy bird thing going on BEFORE they started singing and by the end of the night even she had her tail between her legs. Come on. Horrible lyrics. Horrible arrangement. My 8yr old DD makes up songs that are more entertaining.

I sure hope they change their minds about recording THAT as the first Idol release from the newly crowned star. It will be a huge waste of money, time, and put a black mark on the poor winner's career.

I think I have that off my chest now. Thanks for listening.

I don't think there's anyone here that will disagree with you!

Every year, the song is corny. The lyrics are silly, but I have to admit, I did somewhat like some of the other songs...even when they're about magic rainbows. But this one is just terrible. Not only are the lyrics bad, but there's like no melody or anything.

But then he sticks his tongue out and scrunches up his eyes...and his face gets out of whack..and he's a nice looking guy.

Then I have to remember that his home state didn't start voting yet.

I really feel like I'm watching the Presidential elections. Although this time I'm actually rooting for blue!

I've seen the Adam face before but I've never seen anyone's jaw move like Kris'. It's so weird. And not in a bad way, it's just... unusual

Just wondering who is getting fast busy signals versus the slow ones??

Fast means you didn't even get into your local switch, slow means you did but the number you were dialing was already busy. The fast one is what you get when they turn off the phones.

Ialmost feel like they have shut off the phones already since I am not getting through at all for Kris. I have probably voted no more than 20 times for him in two hours.

cell phones are giving us issues about every 3 or 4 calls now. They keep saying all circuits are busy. I am having luck with the land line. I've slowed down but I'll do about 10-15 calls in a row and get through at least once in each set..sometimes twice.
