I'm actually happy she's gone. While she has always had her favorites, I thought she was really over the top obnoxious about it this year. I am sick of the way she is with Simon. She went on and on and really said nothing at all. I won't miss her a bit.

Now if only they could do something about RANDY!

Supposedly her being out is all official now. But I am a cynic won't buy that she is really GONE until the premiere next winter.

Did anyone see the "chop" over at TWOP of the judges? They had a broken record, a dog with horns, a straight jacket with a hallmark card for a head, and a horse's behind.

I think the entire judge table needs an overhaul.

Randy is so inarticulate he's useless. Axe him.

Kara has moments of clarity, but she is so limited in her outlook on music that she confessed that while she thought Adam's voice was a once in a generation instrument, she didn't "get" him. Seriously? Axe her.

Simon's value is more apparent than real, IMO. Yeah, he's blunt. But he's often bluntly wrong in the sense that his idea of music is often NOT current and certainly not forward-thinking. He is so focused on marketing a sure thing that if you don't fit into his little box, you are nothing. And for all his supposed bluntness, he is not above lying when he feels the need to manipulate the audience.

I think they need to get at least two new judges:
1. A professional vocal coach/trainer who can give objective, knowledgeable, articulate and accessible critiques of the actual SINGING.
2. A producer orA&R exec who is actually IN the business and/or fully immersed in it and is interested not only in cookie cutter blandness, but possibly in finding real NEW talent.

Our concert was this past Sunday, and it was fantastic!

I was surprised to really enjoy almost everyone. Megan was the exception. Her first song was pretty good, but her second one left the crowd with a WTH feeling.

Danny, Kris, Matt and Allyson were great, and Anoop was really good. It was his "home" show, and he got very emotional. The biggest shock for me was how much I liked Lil and Scott.

Adam definitely stole the show. He is an amazing live performer! I can't wait until he tours on his own.

She won't be back, they wouldn't give her the amount she wanted which after 8 years ya know. She's an original of AI and as crazy as she could be sometimes she obviously was good, several former idols have been speaking out It will be interesting to see how much their ratings drop.

...well, the Nokia Theatre (which is located right below where MTV live is taped, on Times Square) holds about 2000 people, so I'd consider that a small venue too...he was ON FIRE!!! AMAZING!!! FABULOSO!! AND, very adorable....Green River Dance opened for them (one of their more 'known' songs is On Your Own, which is the song they play on SYTYCD at the end when one of the dancers leaves)....give a listen:
