About Sanjaya and Randy's comment about him not being able to handle Stevie Wonder songs -

Unless I'm remembering it wrong (and please tell me if I am), didn't Sanjaya sing "Ribbon in the Sky" for his audition? If so, they had no problem with him doing a Stevie song then! Don't get me wrong - his song this week was dreadfully boring, but it's just that it would make Randy's comment kind of kooky if Sanjaya made it into the competition on a Stevie song.

I am not sad that Paul is gone, but Rudy was a little better than some of the others. Next week Antonella and Alaina should be the two girls to go, and Sanjaya and Sundance should be the guys to go. In my humble opinion of course.

I agree about Fantasia's dress. It was way too tight, and very unflattering. Don't they have some kind of wardrobe consultant that can help these people choose their clothing? If not, I'll do it.

While I do think that there were worse singers who could have left last night, I really feel that those four needed to go as well. Really, were any one of the one voted off last night a huge loss? Give it time, the others will eventually get the boot. Antonella and Sundance might be around a bit longer than necessary, but that's only because of VFTW and men who vote for Antonella because of her looks and nasty photos. I still don't think either of them have a shot at being our next Idol.

I'm not surprised by the ones who left. I think there is a whole group of them(more boys than girls) that derserve to go, but since they can only send out two at a time, they're all going to go one after the other over the next few weeks anyway.

Amy unfortunately truly was forgettable. As soon as she stepped up, I said I don't even remember what she sang. No surprise she was the first to go.

Nicole was better than Antonella, but I don't think she would have lasted too long anyway. I thought her whole performance was awkward on Wednesday, though I thought she was better last night.

Paul Kim - I love "Careless Whisper" but couldn't stand his version. And the whole barefoot thing just seemed to gimmicky for me.

I really couldn't get past Rudy's whole stage presence. I think he gave the classic theme park performance - way too cheesy for me. Come to think of it, I don't like his voice either.

I thought Simon was right on target with his comments this week. Some were a little harsh (I would cry if someone told me I had the personality of a candle!), but I agreed with him on every one!

I agree about the bottom four. Antonella is horrid but she causes controversy. I think Sundance has potential and hopefully he'll come back and SOUND LIKE HIS AUDITION next week. There are still a few VERY forgettable types left so they're guaranteed another week or two.

BTW, the EVER growing group of numbnuts supporting Antonella call themselves the FANTONELLAS... I will never understand that type of mentality.

I sitting here listening to Chris' song, Home... I'm trying to let it grow on me. So far it's not working....

There was way too much on tv last night-I tivod Survivor, watch The Office and flipped back and forth to Idol.

Not surprised at who went, wish it was Jersey Girl gone instead though.
Missed Fantasia singing-no big loss to me.
Got to hear MY CHRIS singing Home at the end.
