I'm not a Stevie Wonder fan so I was actually prepared for last night to be worse than it was. I was suprised though to really enjoy some of the performances.
Ace: I am so OVER Ace. I loved him at first, but it got less every week and the Butterflies song really killed it last week. Awful this week too.
Kellie: WHY is she on this show? She is so FAKE I can't stand it! She doesn't know what a minx is, but she knows the word aracnaphobia?
Elliott: Boring. I think he could have picked a better Stevie song for him. I like Elliott, but tonight wasn't his night.
Mandisa: Started off not so great, but it got better, not her best performance, but I still really like her.
Bucky: Awwwwww Bucky! How CUTE was his smile at the end? I was really worried about him doing Stevie, but he did a really good job! I really want him to make it to the top 10! If for no other reason than he is as GENUINE as The Pickle is FAKE.
Melissa: Terrible she forgot the words, but at least she owned up to it. I believe she really was just nervous and they flew out of her head. I would much see her make the top 10 over Kevin, Paris or Ace!
Lisa: At least she went uptempo this week, but no matter how hard I try I don't care for this girl. All her performances make me think of beauty pageant talent competitions.
Kevin: Go home Kevin...that is all.
Katherine: I've loved Katherine from the beginning. I see her going all the way to the Top 3.
Taylor: Just awesome. Taylor is amazing. And he gets extra points for only one "Woo!" last night!
Paris: I liked her so much at first, but I really can't stand her anymore. I'd love to see her go this week but I know it won't happen. She is so annoying and a major camera hog.
Chris: I'm sorry, he is good, but he sounds the same to me every week. It's like he sings the same song just puts in different words. I like him, but he needs to do something different. "Out of his comfort zone" to quote the judges ad naseum.
I hate the "comfort zone" comments the judges are always making. They knock Bucky for playing it safe in his "comfort zone" but praise Chris for knowing his strengths by doing the Red Hot Chili Peppers version of a Stevie Wonder song?
