I've been pleased to see Josh Gracin doing so well in the last year and hope that he keeps it up.

I was on a flight from Ca to Ct 2 1/2 years ago, and Josh Gracin was on the same flight. He was one rude dude! It took me a few minutes to recognize him, because I did not expect to see him on a Southwest flight, but there he was, almost pushing people over in order to beat them off the plane. Kinda sad to see that, because I really liked him on AI, and now I can't think of him the same way. Ah, fame.....

I don't think VFTW has any impact either. I don't think the VFTW people do either. It just gets so much attention that it has continued.

I agree! I think its a stupid waste of time and a laugh to think that they think they are making a difference in the way the voting turns out...

...The best concerts if you want to hear music and the performer sing are Alan and George Strait(My personal Favorite singer)..Martina too but its loud when she hits them high notes ..Anyway Josh stayed after the show and signed autographs and spoke to everyone...My wife got a autograph and he talked to our kids....he was very nice....

Martina is my favorite all time singer, I'm about to see her for the 4th time in a couple of months. Her concerts IMHO are awesome. It's no wonder I was a fan of Carrie's since she sang a lot of Martina last year.

Not that I have seen for the girls. I could be very wrong with this, but I believe I read that they won't even film until this afternoon.

Paris - ugh...tonight wasn't the night to have such a lousy performance. If everyone else does really well, she might be at risk of going home.

Lisa - The lyrics were cute but overall I thought she was boring. And the blue eyeshadow was distracting.

Melissa - She's been in my top favorites from the very beginning and I loved her performance tonight. I wonder if Simon purposely made those comments to get her "sympathy" votes and ensure she moves on.

Melissa was my favorite so far! LOVE Heart and that song, and really like Melissa's smoky voice. Otherwise I don't think the other girls have been making great song choices...not up my alley anyhow.
Can't believe Ryan asked Katherine if she was pregnant and/or quitting the show....guess now we know those rumours were untrue!

Kinnik - Simon's right - she just delivered her plane ticket home. Too bad, I think she has a great voice.

Katherine - She's quite the bubbly one! But what I like is that she seems genuine whereas Kelly seems to push it sometimes. Anyhoo, I thought she sang great and the song was a lot of fun.

Ayla - boring but I'd like to see her stick around because Ryan looks so funny standing next to her.

Mandisa - One of the best ever Idol performances!!!

8. Kelly – oh no here comes Kelly to butcher one of my favorite songs! But wait, she actually sings it pretty well! I’m impressed. Until she says salmon…who in this day and age, has never tried salmon?

And what’s up with Simon’s dis on Carrie? I agree with him, I thought Carrie had as much personality as a dead fish, but still, it seems odd that Simon would crap on his own “starlet”.

Well tonight I agree with probably just about everyone else that I thought Mandisa was the best. After that I thought Katharine and Kellie were the second best. I really think Kellie deserves to be in the top 12 after tonight. The first week, she didn't do too well and you could tell that she was nervous. But I think that's she been improving a lot each week, and this week she was one of the best.

I thought Paris, Lisa, and Ayla were all good as always, but they weren't great. I still like them and I think that they should be in the top 12.

I agree with Simon that Melissa and Kinnik were the worst of the night, but he didn't have to be so mean about it! I thought that Melissa sounded off in parts of the song, especially the end, but Kinnik was even worse She sounded off during the whole song!

After tonight, I'm still going with who I think should be in the top 6: Paris, Lisa, Katharine, Mandisa, Ayla and Kelly.

And even though Mandisa probably has the best voice out of all the girls, I don't see her going as far as some of them. I don't think she shows as much personality as most of them, and personality really has a lot to do with getting far in the competition.

Paris tonight...she has not impressed me at all these last 2 weeks, she continued the trend tonight.

Lisa...the girl has a voice...but she doesn't pick really good songs that will show it off...as a matter of fact I don't even remember what she sang!

Melissa...I like her voice, I liked the song...I hope she sticks around.

Kinnik....

Katherine...I really enjoyed her tonight! Redeemed herself from last week.

Ayla...I love the original, she didn't do too bad on it. Another one that I hope sticks around.

Mandissa....no comment necessary!

Kelly...she surprised me! I didn't think she had it in her. Me thinks she's been holding back a bit. BUT (sorry in advance to blondes everywhere)OMG...
she is a ditzy blonde.
