Carrie was great tonight just as she was last season and those of you who dont like her are just jealous...she was by far the best voice last season....America got it right not like the season before when Fantasia won it....she was terrible I thought....

Yikes, jealous of WHAT? I think it's preference, I thought she was sweet and adorable but had NO star quality and she proves it everytime she's on stage. On the other hand I LOVED Fantasia and still do, is that a surprise? I don't try to figure out people's preferences, it's as personal as any possession, but to assume we're JEALOUS... omg, I've never been jealous of an human being in my life!

I was not surprised at ALL at those who left last night. The only surprise is how Paula got so much mike and air time when she was so obviously WASTED. I found it disgusting and was glad Ryan reprimanded her. Funny, NOT!

I am THRILLED that that was the LAST DANCE we had with Brenna last night! Good Lord, girl, I think Clive Davis is STILL shivering because she mentioned his name!!

Interesting sidenote. Vote for the Worst is an EzBoard website and they post polls to see who their "worst" should be. Anyone with an EzBoard membership can vote and could theoretically vote for their best instead to get VFTW to vote for that contestant. Not that I would do such a thing but theoretically it would be possible to turn the tables on them and get them to help out a favorite.

For the life of me I cannot understand why they let the singers who have been voted out sing AGAIN before they leave!! If the voters didn't like them and their song choice, WHY do they make us listen to them AGAIN?! I'd rather hear a couple of the ones STAYING sing THEIR songs again!!!

I'm SO GLAD Brenna is gone!! Her constant cheesy smile and posing whenever she's near the camera was getting annoying!! I loved how Simon said he thought that's the last we'd see of her, and she said something about America being the ones to vote...and they voted her OUT!! Yeah!! I can't imagine her ever getting a recording contract!!

And Gedeon's attitude, oh my gosh!! In the beginning he said he was ready for America to see what God has done! Talk about an ego!! And then in last night's episode Ryan is asking each guy if he thinks he's in the bottom three, and they ALL would say something like "I hope not", or "I'm not sure"...but not Gedeon, he came back with an emphatic "NO!" I like his voice but can't stand watching him, and HATE his attitude about himself so I will be glad when he is gone!! He is way too stuck on himself, and shows it!!

I'm not Slacking but - they are pushing for Kellie and Kevin. They have a picture of Chicken Little on the site instead of Kevin. and a REALLY unflattering picture of Kellie - I didn't recognize her!

Heck no...I am not jealous of Carrie Underwood. On the contrary (though I wanted Bo to win desperately) I was voting for her (and Bo) all the way last year. I think she's a phenomenal singer. I just think (personally) her talent is being wasted just singing country music because, no offense to those of you who like country music, it's torture to listen to...like a dying cat. I know many disagree. I do like Carrie..a lot.

Carrie's style is country and she's a big success in that genre. It's to her advantage too since country is a bigger industry than pop.

I like country a lot but Carrie doesn't do much for me. She's OK and only OK but to each their own.

I don't think Kellie is the worst singer, but she is by far the most inexperienced of the ladies. HArkening back to the debate about whether or not she had any expereicne singing in pageants and competitions before, I'd say her lackluster stage presence and inability thusfar to "wow" the audience or even sing particularly well with a backup band points to just overall inexperience. Again, not the WORST singer, just not a whole lot of experience. I still like her a lot. I think she'll get better with time. I'd say Kinnik is really the weakest of the girls and she and Melissa will likely be the ones leaving next week.

Of the guys, Kevin is cute in a nerdy "lost puppy" kind of way and really is the true VFTW winner. He's getting by on his Chicken Little status and not much else. That lisp! It's killing me! DH keeps making me vote for him. I can't help it...he is cute!

Some of them seem to think that people will grow tired of Taylor plus they want to take credit for him getting to a high level. At least, so I've heard.

Slacking can verify all of this but I think that I will at least go over there and vote. Let's see, who do I want them voting for...

I don't think I'd miss Will or Gedeon much either.

I want to see the rest of the guys challenged with some different styles of music.

I really like Elliott's voice - I hope he stays around long enough for the AI stylists to get hold of him and try to work some magic.

Have not made my mind up on the girls side yet.

Except after last night I'd love to be able to vote Paula off!

Well, I was quite happy with the vote off last night. I taped it, so I could watch Survivor...so when the losers were asked to sing, I just fast forward through it. I didn't have any cotton balls on hand anyway for Brenna's performance anyway.

As for Paula...I guess no one noticed that Simon was egging her on. The salad and pizza thing was his. He said it to her...she just made the mistake of saying it out loud. And the same can be said of the fortune cookie thing as well. I think they were both acting shameful last night, and both should be sorry for what they did.

I think Carrie did a wonderful job last night. It is not my favorite song on the CD, but it still a nice one. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing BO! I got the duel disk for his CD, so when ever I want to see him, I just pop in the DVD! He can sing anything from that CD I will be happy!

Now, reading all who posted before, I am trying to figure out why some are so upset about Kevin. You know he will not (or should not) make it to the final 12. I think he will be one of the ones to go next week. I think we all should begin to really worry about it if he does make the final 12. Because he has truly been out sung by many of the others. Until then just hit the mute button, if you don't like to hear him sing. But I agree with someone else who has posted...he needs to just go home, take some voice lessons and try again when he is older. He has a voice it just needs some work, but he is not really ready for AI now.

The producers probably do it for the national exposure, to help the "losers" get more jobs. Even though they're "losers", that is, not the next American Idol, it "looks good on the ole resume, as they say, that those voted off had made the top 24 of American Idol. I'm guessing that even though they got voted off, they still want a musical career, and maybe someone "out there" will see them and give them work!
