Chris is totally THE MAN!!!!

Watching him tonight reminds me of the first time Kelly WOW'd the judges a few years ago and when Bo finally showed his stuff for the first time last year.

I believe the young guys are talented but there is nothing like "life" to make a man want a better life for himself and his family. When Chris is singing, I believe years of working hard and struggling added in with wanting more for his family is what is his inspiration. He is definitely the front runner right now in my opinion.

This is what I thought of tonight:

Taylor: I didn't like this performance as much as last week, but it probably has something to do with the fact that I didn't like the song. He's still awesome though, and of course I'm gonna vote for him...if I can eventually get through! By the way, did he seriously call his hat a toboggan?! I got so excited because I think that's what he called it. For some reason, I've always called turbans - toboggans...and I thought that was so weird that he calls his hat the same thing! If that's not what he said then just ignore the last 3 sentences and call me an idiot lol.

Elliot: I was pleasantly surprised with him again this week. I thought he did very well and proved that he should make it to the top 12.

Ace: I like Ace, but for some reason I didn't really like the performance that much. Maybe it's because I like the original version and I'm so used to that one. But that's ok, I'll still be voting for him because I know he can do better.

Gedeon: Ehh. The judges liked him but for some reason he bothers me. He wasn't bad but not overly impressive either.

Kevin: I absolutely love him. I loved the whole "sex symbol" thing lol. I know a lot of people probably don't like his lisp when he sings but I think it's cute. I think he did good today. I just think he's gotta learn to be more comfortable up there (because you can tell he's nervous), and maybe learn some dance moves.

"Sway": I know some people like him, but I find him incredibly annoying. I thought he was horrible last week, and though not as bad this week, he was still the worst of all of the guys tonight. I hope he goes tomorrow.

William: Have I mentioned how much I love him?! My mother and I both thought he was amazing tonight! He has such a powerful voice for a 16 year old. We thought the judges were going to love him but just have a problem with the song being "too old" for him. We were shocked when the judges all thought it wasn't that great! Were we listening to something completely different from everyone else??? All I know is I'll definitely be voting for him because I really want to see him in the top 12.

Bucky: He was ok tonight. I thought he sounded better than last week because his voice sounded so scratchy last week. But he's still nothing special, and I wouldn't really care if he went home tomorrow.

David: I really like him, just like I liked John Stevens. I just don't understand the judges though. If they have such a problem with the crooners, then why do they even let them into the top 24?! I'll be voting for him because I still love him, although I'm afraid he might be leaving tomorrow.

Chris: I thought that was a great way to end the show! I've liked him since the day he auditioned and he hasn't disappointed me yet! Of course I'll be voting for him too...as soon as I can get through!

Overall, I don't think anyone really did bad tonight except for Sway. My top two tonight would have to be Chris and William, and my bottom two would have to be Sway, and I really don't know who else.

Chris is AWESOME!! I also thought Elliott was good and Gideon surprised me. I didn't like him at all last week.

Worst of the night was definitely Sway. I think it will be him and the Crooner (David?) leaving tomorrow.

Everybody else was just OK, but overall the guys were much better than the girls.

Yes, Chris Rocked!!! I am so looking forward to seeing him each week! I was not really impressed with David or Will this week, but did think that Elliott, Taylor & Bucky did pretty good.

I was excited to see Bo in the audience too!

This is going to be a very tough year...I like too many of them...Taylor, Chris, Ace (but not tonight) I have no clue who I would vote for every week, I want them all to win! The girls really have to step to even be in close competition to these guys!

Top 2 for me tonight: Chris and Elliott

Bottom 2: David and Sway

1. Taylor – Not up to his usual level but still good - 8

2. Elliot – Odd guy with a great voice - 8

3. Ace – He was OK and so cute so I hope he gets another chance - 6

4. Gedeon – I was prepared to not like him but once again I was bopping up and down during his performance - 7

5. Kevin – OK but nothing special - 5

6. Sway – Not there for me - 4

7. Will – OK but only OK - 5

8. Bucky – MAJOR improvement. I still believe that there's a good singer there - 8 (I think that this guy could be really hot if handled right.)

9. David – Not my style so it's not fair really to rate him.

10. Chris – The BEST of the best this week - 10

Funny but I think that all of the guys are better than some of the women this week. Unfortunately two have to go so I'll pick Sway and Kevin. I think that both Will and David could improve.

Next week I would like to see Taylor emote his song more. This week I felt that his grinning and his hooting were totally contradictory to the message of the song and it really took away from the performance and having the audience connect with the song. The first verse was:
Know it sounds funny
But I just can't stand the pain
Girl I'm leaving you tomorrow
Seems to me girl
You know I've done all I can
You see I begged, stole
And I borrowed...

It is a painful song!!!

I still liked his audition performance best because he seemed to feel the song so much more.

wow, i was not a chris fan before, but he chose a great song and really blew me away tonight! i like so many of these guys! i was dialing between elliott, chris, taylor, kevin (i know i know, but he's such a cute little chicken) and bucky, with a couple votes thrown in for will and david just cos. here's who i think will go tomorrow: david, sway, brenna, and heather. i would prefer that sway, brenna, ayla (she just doesn't do it for me), and gideon go.

I thought Will was the best of the night.

But, I will agree that Sway was the worst! yay!

Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Will was one of the best tonight..and it's not because I have a crush on him! I thought maybe I was just not hearing what the judges were. But I really think he has an amazing voice.

My 8yo DD has her first official crush. She adores... KEVIN. It's s cute to watch her watch him, and then urge us to all and vote for him.

As for me, I'm pulling Taylor and Chris. Gedeon impressed me tonight. I guess we'll be saying good-bye to Sway and the second guy who sang tonite

I really don't think Bucky has much talent, and I'm having a hard time seeing what everyone else sees in him...but maybe that's just me. Could it be because he's a rocker and that's what you guys tend to like?

I keep thinking Sway will do better the next week, but it doesn't seem to be happening. I thought he was so much better in tryouts...could it be that he's better with no music in the background?

Ace bombed so badly this week, but it seemed to be the first bad performance for him, so I'm willing to give it another shot.

I think tomorrow we'll say goodbye to Sway and Will. As for the girls--Brenna definitely.

My favorites are:
Male: Taylor, then Chris
Female: Paris, and then a toss-up between Kellie and Mandisa

If Will goes home tomorrow, then something is seriously wrong. Sway and one of Bucky/Gedeon (with an outside chance of David) will go home tomorrow night. As for the girls it'll be two of Heather, Brenna, Kinnik, and Melissa with an outside chance of Katharine (maybe theres truth to rumors of her leaving the show and will let her go this way isntead of just having her quite, but this is just wishful thinking on my part, I do not think it'll happen.)

I am not a fan of Bucky at all, he is kind of a non-issue for me, I can't even remember what he sounded like tonight. I know he sang Garth Brooks and I like that song, but I don't remember his performance at all. I agree with what you said about Ace too...he was off tonight, but we know he can sing better so hopefully he'll stick around. Better he got the crappy performance out of the way.
