Most of the people I liked got through...DD's were horrified to see their favorite, the McPhee girl start cursing though. They won't forget that and and she's out for them now. I like the guys this time...Taylor, Chris, and Ace!!!!! I can't get over how many babies got through. We like Lisa Tucker alot too. Can't wait to actually get to hear some singing now!

I am amazed how you all can remember most of the names of the 24!! I am lucky to remember my favorites in which Lisa Tucker is the only name I remember with a face. I do like the good looking guy with the brown hair, and the bald guy and the big girl. But for the life of me I can't remember their names!! I guess it will come when we start to see the competitions. I can't wait. this will be a good year!!!

I think the only one I am having a hard time liking is the one girl that Simon really likes. I don't know, maybe I will grow to like her. Just a bit cocky for my tastes. And I felt sorry for her "enemy". Must have been tough for her to go back into the room.

I agree. She's so cocky that I can't stand it. Out of the entire 24, she's the only one that I don't like.

For me, AI is going to be a lot of fun to watch because there are so many talented men and women that also seem likeable and very deserving of the title.

also the basketball player, wonder how much her father played in this. She can sing but I thought there were others who were better.

Who was the girl that mentioned she used to sing Opera and Jazz, I think. She had long, dark hair. I liked her and Bucky, but my first choice is definitely Ayla, the girl from Boston. Yes, I'm surprised how some people can remember names so well. I've gotta start writing this down!

Girls I think Paris is by far the best singer of the bunch

I like Taylor Hicks and the bald guy...I think Taylor Hicks' movements are more of a Joe Cocker thing than a Ray Charles...He definitely "feels" his music. Hope he lasts.

Might be a guy's turn this year...they haven't had much success yet on AI.

Right now my top picks are Ace and Kellie Pickler. My only thought though is if they are too much like Bo and Carrie. More in looks though than anything else.

I think that Taylor Hicks is a breath of fresh air! It is about time that they let someone in that has their own style that doesn't conform with "modern" day suburbia. Also, Ace would be right up there, he has the looks and can sing, bet he makes it down to the wire.

As for the girls....can't seem to remember too many names, Kelly Pickle and there was a girl with long darker hair that was a little wavy, quit pretty and soft spoken, she was very good.

I agree with you on all three points ! Taylor Hicks is my Favorite for the men.

Kelly Pickle is good but she pulls at my heart strings because of her background.

I also like Paris but she does have alot of help from her famous Grandmother and I think she will do well with or without AI.

Hey, remember that 45 year old guy from last year who came in (with makeup on), trying to pose like a 28 year old? That was HILARIOUS..... So you wouldn't be the first one LOL.... but you might get your face on the audition tapes LOL....

I have NO memory for names so last year I started keeping a notebook with the weekly episodes in it. I'm doing it again this year. I also write down my favorite Simonisms.

Simbas Mom...go into the idolsonfox website, they have the pictures up of the top 24 now so you can see who they all are. If you click on the individual picture you also get a mini biography on each one. I didn't know who more than half of the people were last night! Now I can place names and faces, just can't remember their voices yet.

I'm so excited, because everyone that I liked from the beginning made it to the top 24...well except for Garret (the cute little 18 year old cowboy who's only sang in front of his turkeys). I know he probably wasn't good enough for the top 24, but he was so sweet!

There are definitely a lot of guys that I love this year. I'm in love with the three 16 year old boys, David (the next John Stevens!), Kevin and Will. And I love Taylor (the gray haired guy) and Chris (bald rocker dude). My mother is in love with Ace like everyone else. I haven't heard him sing that much, but from what I've heard, he's really good too.

As for the girls, I also love the two 16 year olds. It seems like they have a lot of really good young talent this year. Kellie Pickler is also really good, and so is Mandisa.

The only one I really don't like so far is Brenna because I really don't like her attitude. And I'm so glad those twins are gone, they got on my last nerve. I heard that they got arrested, but then I thought maybe they were talking about another set of twins, because they weren't leaving.

Anyways, it looks like there's a lot of talent this year. I see so many people that could possibly be in the top 2. I guess we'll just have to wait until next week to really judge everyone.

Of all these contestants I like...

Ace, Chris, Will and Taylor for the GUYS...with Chris being my fav and Taylor being DH's fav...

As for the GIRLS... I like Katharine, Kellie and Lisa...DH likes Paris also.

Watch out for Becky because she is beautiful and that might get her pretty far.

Looks like a better season than the last 2 years so far...What do you think in comparison to the previous years...???

There was a lot of good talent last season, so it's hard to compare the two right now. But this season is definitely better than season 3, because any season is better than season 3, since it was so bad. The only person that was really talented enough to win was Latoya and she came in 4th. After that it was just ridiculous to watch.
